A year after financial crisis, a new world order emerges

September 11, 2009

“Told you.”

By Kevin G. Hall, McClatchy Newspapers

WASHINGTON — One year after the near collapse of the global financial system, this much is clear: The financial world as we knew it is over, and something new is rising from its ashes.

Historians will look to September 2008 as a watershed for the U.S. economy.

On Sept. 7 , the government seized mortgage titans Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac . Eight days later, investment bank Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, sparking a global financial panic that threatened to topple blue-chip financial institutions around the world. In the several months that followed, governments from Washington to Beijing responded with unprecedented intervention into financial markets and across their economies, seeking to stop the wreckage and stem the damage.

One year later, the easy-money system that financed the boom era from the 1980s until a year ago is smashed. Once-ravenous U.S. consumers are saving money and paying down debt. Banks are building reserves and hoarding cash. And governments are fashioning a new global financial order.

Congress and the Obama administration have lost faith in self-regulated markets. Together, they’re writing the most sweeping new regulations over finance since the Great Depression. And in this ever-more-connected global economy, Washington is working with its partners through the G-20 group of nations to develop worldwide rules to govern finance.

“Our objective is to design an economic framework where we’re going to have a more balanced pattern of growth globally, less reliant on a buildup of unsustainable borrowing . . . and not just here, but around the world,” said Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner .

The first faint signs that the U.S. economy may be clawing its way back from the worst recession since the Great Depression are only now starting to appear, a year after the panic began. Similar indications are sprouting in EuropeChina and Japan .

Still, economists concur that a quarter-century of economic growth fueled by cheap credit is over. Many analysts also think that an extended period of slow job growth and suppressed wage growth will keep consumers — and the businesses that sell to them — in the dumps for years.

“Those things are likely to be subpar for a long period of time,” said Martin Regalia, the chief economist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce . “I think it means that we probably see potential rates of growth that are in the 2-2.5 (percent) range, or maybe . . . 1.8-1.9 (percent).” A growth rate of 3 percent to 3.5 percent is considered average.

The unemployment rate rose to 9.7 percent in August and is expected to peak above 10 percent in the months ahead. It’s already there in at least 15 states. Regalia thinks that it could be five years before the U.S. economy generates enough jobs to overcome those lost and to employ the new workers entering the labor force.

All this is likely to keep consumers on the sidelines.

“I think this financial panic and Great Recession is an inflection point for the financial system and the economy,” said Mark Zandi , the chief economist for forecaster Moody’s “It means much less risk-taking, at least for a number of years to come — a decade or two. That will be evident in less credit and more costly credit. If you are a household or a business, it will cost you more, and it will be more difficult to get that credit.”

The numbers bear him out. The Fed’s most recent release of credit data showed that consumer credit decreased at an annual rate of 5.2 percent from April to June, after falling by a 3.6 percent annual rate from January to March. Revolving lines of credit, which include credit cards, fell by an annualized 8.9 percent in the first quarter, followed by an 8.2 percent drop in the second quarter.

That’s a sea change. For much of the past two decades, strong U.S. growth has come largely through expanding credit. The global economy fed off this trend.

China became a manufacturing hub by selling attractively priced exports to U.S. consumers who were living beyond their means. China’s Asian neighbors sent it components for final assembly; Africa and Latin Americasold China their raw materials. All fed off U.S. consumers’ bottomless appetite for more, bought on credit.

“That’s over. Consumers can do their part — spend at a rate consistent with their income growth, but not much beyond that,” Zandi said.

If U.S. consumers no longer drive the global economy, then consumers in big emerging economies such as China and Brazil will have to take up some of the slack. Trade among nations will take on greater importance.

In the emerging “new normal,” U.S. companies will have to be more competitive. They must sell into big developing markets; yet as the recent Cash for Clunkers effort underscored, the competitive hurdles are high: Foreign-owned automakers, led by Toyota , reaped the most benefit from the U.S. tax breaks for new car purchases, not GM and Chrysler .

Need a loan? Tough luck: Many U.S. banks are in no condition to lend. Around 416 banks are now on a “problem list” and at risk of insolvency. Regulators already have shuttered 81 banks and thrifts this year.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. reported on Aug. 27 that rising loan losses are depleting bank capital. The ratio of bank reserves to bad loans was 63.5 percent from April to June, the lowest it’s been since the savings-and-loan crisis in 1991.

For all that, the U.S. economy does seem to be rising off its sickbed. The latest manufacturing data for August point to a return to growth, and home sales are rising. Indeed, there are many encouraging signs emerging in the global economy.

It’s all growth from a low starting point, however, and many economists think that there’ll be a lower baseline for U.S. and global growth if the new financial order means less risk-taking by lenders and less indebtedness by companies and consumers.

That seems evident now in the U.S. personal savings rate. It fell steadily from 9.59 percent in the 1970s to 2.68 percent in the easy-money era from 2000 to 2008; from 2005 to 2007, it averaged 1.83 percent.

Today, that trend is in reverse. From April to June, Americans’ personal savings rate was 5 percent, and it could go higher if the unemployment rate keeps rising. Almost 15 million Americans are unemployed — and countless others are underemployed or uncertain about their job security, so they’re spending less and saving more.

A few years ago, banks fell all over themselves to offer cheap home equity loans and lines of consumer credit. No more. Even billions in government bailout dollars to spur lending haven’t changed that.

“The strategy that was stated at the beginning of the year — which is that you would sustain the banking system in order that it would resume lending — hasn’t worked, and it isn’t going to work,” said James K. Galbraith , an economist at the University of Texas at Austin .

Over the course of 2008, the nation’s five largest banks reduced their consumer loans by 79 percent, real estate loans by 66 percent and commercial loans by 19 percent, according to FDIC data. A wide range of credit measures, including recent FDIC data, show that lending remains depressed.

Why? The foundation of U.S. credit expansion for the past 20 years is in ruin. Since the 1980s, banks haven’t kept loans on their balance sheets; instead, they sold them into a secondary market, where they were pooled for sale to investors as securities. The process, called securitization, fueled a rapid expansion of credit to consumers and businesses. By passing their loans on to investors, banks were freed to lend more.

Today, securitization is all but dead. Investors have little appetite for risky securities. Few buyers want a security based on pools of mortgages, car loans, student loans and the like.

“The basis of revival of the system along the line of what previously existed doesn’t exist. The foundation that was supposed to be there for the revival (of the economy) . . . got washed away,” Galbraith said.

Unless and until securitization rebounds, it will be hard for banks to resume robust lending because they’re stuck with loans on their books.

“We’ve just been scared,” said Robert C. Pozen , the chairman of Boston -based MFS Investment Management . He thinks that the freeze in securitization reflects a lack of trust in Wall Street and its products and remains a huge obstacle to the resumption of lending that’s vital to an economic recovery.

Enter the Federal Reserve. It now props up the secondary market for pooled loans that are vital to the functioning of the U.S. financial system. The Fed is lending money to investors who’re willing to buy the safest pools of loans, called asset-backed securities.

Through Sept. 3 , the Fed had funded purchases of $817.6 billion in mortgage-backed securities. These securities were pooled mostly by mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae , Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae . In recent months, the Fed also has moved aggressively to lend for purchase of pools of other consumer-based loans.

Today, there’s little private-sector demand for new loan-based securities; government is virtually the only game in town. That’s why on Aug. 17 , the Fed announced that it would extend its program to finance the purchase of pools of loans until mid-2010. That suggests there’s still a long way to go before a functioning securitization market — the backbone of consumer lending — returns to a semblance of normalcy.

China alarmed by US money printing

September 10, 2009

The US Federal Reserve’s policy of printing money to buy Treasury debt threatens to set off a serious decline of the dollar and compel China to redesign its foreign reserve policy, according to a top member of the Communist hierarchy.

By Ambrose Evans-Pritchard

Cheng Siwei, former vice-chairman of the Standing Committee and now head of China’s green energy drive, said Beijing was dismayed by the Fed’s recourse to “credit easing”.

“We hope there will be a change in monetary policy as soon as they have positive growth again,” he said at the Ambrosetti Workshop, a policy gathering on Lake Como.

“If they keep printing money to buy bonds it will lead to inflation, and after a year or two the dollar will fall hard. Most of our foreign reserves are in US bonds and this is very difficult to change, so we will diversify incremental reserves into euros, yen, and other currencies,” he said.

China’s reserves are more than – $2 trillion, the world’s largest.

“Gold is definitely an alternative, but when we buy, the price goes up. We have to do it carefully so as not to stimulate the markets,” he added.

The comments suggest that China has become the driving force in the gold market and can be counted on to
buy whenever there is a price dip, putting a floor under any correction.

Mr Cheng said the Fed’s loose monetary policy was stoking an unstable asset boom in China. “If we raise interest rates, we will be flooded with hot money. We have to wait for them. If they raise, we raise.

“Credit in China is too loose. We have a bubble in the housing market and in stocks so we have to be very careful, because this could fall down.”

Mr Cheng said China had learned from the West that it is a mistake for central banks to target retail price inflation and take their eye off assets.

“This is where Greenspan went wrong from 2000 to 2004,” he said. “He thought everything was alright because inflation was low, but assets absorbed the liquidity.”

Mr Cheng said China had lost 20m jobs as a result of the crisis and advised the West not to over-estimate the role that his country can play in global recovery.

China’s task is to switch from export dependency to internal consumption, but that requires a “change in the ideology of the Chinese people” to discourage excess saving. “This is very difficult”.

Mr Cheng said the root cause of global imbalances is spending patterns in US (and UK) and China.

“The US spends tomorrow’s money today,” he said. “We Chinese spend today’s money tomorrow. That’s why we have this financial crisis.”

Yet the consequences are not symmetric.

“He who goes borrowing, goes sorrowing,” said Mr Cheng.

It was a quote from US founding father Benjamin Franklin.

We are Living in an Artificially Induced State of Consciousness

Since its inception in American homes in the late 1930’s, television has essentially given America it’s culture. Today, television watching is the most popular leisure activity as more and more people are choosing the fantasy world of TV over engaging with others in real communication and experiences. Where people once wanted to explore the wonders of the world and nature, now many explore the world outside their homes only through what they view on television. Once a vast majority is living the same reality through television, then they are more predictable and easily managed. The television does an excellent job placing everyone that watches it on the same page, all sharing the same views, worries, interests, and idols.

Through the television, we are trained from birth to death as to what to believe. Many studies have demonstrated that the young unquestioningly accept whatever reality is presented by television. Impressionable children will often spend hours in front of the television each day as it is used as a trust worthy babysitter. As they sit down for their daily intake of cartoons, children’s programming and commercials, many parents fail to realize what lessons the television is teaching their children. And so culture and norms of behavior are often more strongly influenced by what is on television rather than by what parents are teaching children. The parents of today grew up in front of the television as well and so the television is not often questioned and instead accepted as a part of the family’s daily life. Children who grow up in front of the TV learn to arrange their lives around TV programming and will likely grow up to be adults who get their entertainment, news, and information from it.

Heavy television watching is culturally accepted and expected in our society. In fact, the act of not watching TV can actually offend some people. With the average American adult watching more than 4 hours of television each day, the television plays a major role in continually creating the reality in which we live. Those who create the television programming- the 6 corporations and little over 100 board members who control all American mass media outlets shape this reality. The interests of these corporations and those who lead them are to make money for both the media corporations and those corporations that the board members have special ties to. Rather than creating television shows that engages critical thinking and keeps Americans well informed on topics that may affect their well being, the TV causes us to see ourselves as consumers who need to be entertained. Television is creating a culture of occupied minds- an apathetic and passive population only interested in being entertained by mindless trivia with no interest in analyzing information and instead relying on the TV for all answers.

TV has lead us into a world controlled by science and run by experts. In predicting a “Scientific Dictatorship,” Aldous Huxley, author of Brave New World and well known for his studies on the development of new techniques by which to control and direct human behavior, described a world run by experts, which isn’t hard to imagine when we’ve been trained through our television sets to always listen to experts. Major media promotes experts on just about every topic you can imagine while implying that the public is too dumb or uneducated to make their own decisions about such topics as vaccinations, financial management, and medical interventions. In this way, the television is creating in individuals a sense of learned helplessness, leaving us dependent on those given to us as experts to direct our decisions and actions.

The act of watching TV regularly is obedience to those in control. For total control in any system, everyone must be predictable. TV creates a collectivism society, where to be an individual is seen as an enemy to the peace within the collective society. Groupthink is essential in a society where everyone is to be controlled by those in power. Aldous Huxley once said, “It is possible to make people contented with their servitude. I think this can be done. I think it has been done in the past. I think it could be done even more effectively now because you can provide them with bread and circuses and you can provide them with endless amounts of distractions and propaganda.”

Blackwater Founder Accused in Court of Intent to Kill

September 3, 2009

APTOPIX Blackwater Iraq

By Jerry Markon

Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, August 29, 2009

The attorneys singled out Erik Prince, a former Navy SEAL who is the company’s owner, for blame in the deaths of more than 20 Iraqis between 2005 and 2007. Six former Blackwater guards were criminally charged in 14 of the shootings, and family members and victims’ estates sued Prince, Blackwater (now called Xe Services LLC) and a group of related companies.

“The person responsible for these deaths is Mr. Prince,” Susan L. Burke, an attorney for the plaintiffs, said in U.S. District Court in Alexandria. “He had the intent, he provided the weapons, he provided the instructions, and they were done by his agents and they were war crimes.”

Judge T.S. Ellis III expressed deep skepticism about the claims. “Are you accusing Mr. Prince of saying ‘I want our boys to go out and shoot innocent civilians?’ ” he asked the attorneys.”These are certainly allegations of not engaging in very nice conduct, but where are the elements that meet the elements of murder? I don’t have any doubt that you can infer malice. What you can’t infer, as far as I can tell, is intent to kill these people.”

Attorneysfor the former Blackwater company denied the allegations at the hearing, which was called to consider their motion to dismiss the lawsuit. Ellis said he would issue a ruling “promptly.”

The hearing — combative in its words but respectful in tone — was the latest fallout from Blackwater’s controversial actions in Iraq. The North Carolina company, which has provided security under a lucrative State Department contract, has come under scrutiny for a string of incidents in which its heavily armed guards were accused of using excessive force.

The deadliest was a September 2007 shooting in central Baghdad in which Blackwater guards opened fire on Iraqis in a crowded street, killing 17 civilians. The company has said the guards’ convoy came under fire. Five former Blackwater guards have been indicted on federal charges in 14 of those shootings. A sixth guard pleaded guilty.

The lawsuit cites that incident and other shootings to accuse the company of “lawless behavior.” A consolidation of five earlier lawsuits, it says the company covered up killings and hired known mercenaries. In sworn affidavits recently filed by the plaintiffs’ attorneys, two anonymous former Blackwater employees also say — without citing evidence — that the company may have conspired to murder witnesses in the criminal probe.

Attorneys for Blackwater say the lawsuit should be dismissed on a variety of legal grounds and that although the deaths were tragic, the guards were closely supervised by U.S. government officials. The allegations “go far beyond describing the harm allegedly suffered by Plaintiffs,” the Blackwater attorneys wrote in their motion to dismiss. “They include an encyclopedia of vituperative assertions.”

The Blackwater attorneys are also calling on the judge to strike the affidavits from the former employees from the court record, calling them “scandalous and baseless” and designed to get publicity. Ellis has yet to rule on that motion.

No Compromise on Audit the Fed!

September 1, 2009

August 31, 2009

Dear Friend of Liberty,

Our grassroots Revolution has set its sights on restoring a sound monetary policy to our nation, and every day we are awakening more of our countrymen to the dangers of Federal Reserve secrecy and its stranglehold on our economy.

A year ago, no one in the political establishment would have believed that a bill to thoroughly audit the Fed would have almost two-thirds of the House (including every Republican representative and nearly one hundred Democrats) and a quarter of the Senate on board.

Certainly, no one would have bet that three-fourths of the American people would supportsuch an audit.

As many of you may have heard by now, recent statements from Representative Barney Frank, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, have indicated that the House will vote on Audit the Fed in the next few months.

However, rather than voting on HR 1207 as a standalone bill, many in Congress hope to roll it into the comprehensive regulatory reform package recently proposed by the White House.

This reform package grants new, more comprehensive powers to the Fed and strengthens the government’s control over our economy. C4L and other friends of liberty stand in opposition to this proposal, as well as any other attempt to convert this historic movement for transparency into yet another rubber-stamping of politics as usual.

It is imperative that Audit the Fed come before the House and Senate on its own merits.

The American people stand behind a thorough audit of the Fed, and we should not be adding additional powers when we don’t fully know what is being done with the ones they currently have.

Call Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office today at (202) 225-0100 and urge her to stand with the American people by giving the Audit the Fed bill full debate and a standalone vote on the House floor.

Click herefor contact information for your representatives and senators and ask them to get behind Audit the Fed if they have not yet done so. If they have already cosponsored, tell them to push for a roll call vote on HR 1207 and S 604 on the bills’ own merits.

Our movement has worked hard to bring transparency and accountability to one of the nation’s most secretive institutions. Audit the Fed has received a bipartisan level of support that is very rare in politics today.

Together, we can see a comprehensive audit of the Federal Reserve signed into law, but it should not be accompanied by more of the same interventionist legislation that helped create the current crisis.

In Liberty,

John Tate

P.S. Click hereto take action, and don’t forget to tell your family and friends about, where they can view the coalition in support of transparency, sign a petition, and learn more about this historic effort.

Historical facts about the dangers (and failures) of vaccines

August 31, 2009

Saturday, August 29, 2009 by: Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

(NaturalNews) Vaccines are the quackery of modern medicine. Mass vaccination programs not only fail to protect the population from infectious disease, they actuallyaccelerate the spread of disease in many cases.

Many website have cropped up over the last few years to counter the pro-vaccine propaganda put out by drug companies (who profit from vaccines) and health regulators (who serve the drug companies). One of those sites , which lists the following historical facts about vaccines:

• In the USA in 1960, two virologists discovered that bothpolio vaccines were contaminated with the SV 40 virus which causes cancer in animals as well as changes in human cell tissue cultures. Millions of children had been injected with these vaccines. (Med Jnl of Australia 17/3/1973 p555)

• In 1871-2, England, with 98% of the population aged between 2 and 50 vaccinated against smallpox, it experienced its worst ever smallpox outbreak with 45,000 deaths. During the same period in Germany, with avaccination rate of 96%, there were over 125,000 deaths from smallpox. (…)
The Hadwen Documents

• In Germany, compulsory mass vaccination against diphtheria commenced in 1940 and by 1945 diphtheria cases were up from 40,000 to 250,000. (Don’t Get Stuck, Hannah Allen)

• In 1967, Ghana was declared measles free by the World Health Organisation after 96% of its population was vaccinated. In 1972, Ghana experienced one of its worst measles outbreaks with its highest ever mortality rate. (Dr H Albonico, MMR Vaccine Campaign in Switzerland, March 1990)

• In 1977, Dr Jonas Salk who developed the first polio vaccine, testified along with other scientists, that mass inoculation against polio was the cause of most polio cases throughout the USA since 1961. (Science 4/4/77 “Abstracts” )

• In the UK between 1970 and 1990, over 200,000 cases of whooping cough occurred in fully vaccinated children. (Community Disease Surveillance Centre, UK)

• In the 1970’s a tuberculosis vaccine trial in India involving 260,000 people revealed that more cases of TB occurred in the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. (The Lancet 12/1/80 p73)

• In 1978, a survey of 30 States in the US revealed that more than half of the children who contracted measles had been adequately vaccinated. (The People’s Doctor, Dr R Mendelsohn)

• The February 1981 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association found that 90% of obstetricians and 66% of pediatricians refused to take the rubella vaccine.

• In 1979, Sweden abandoned the whooping cough vaccine due to its ineffectiveness. Out of 5,140 cases in 1978, it was found that 84% had been vaccinated three times! (BMJ 283:696-697, 1981)

• In the USA, the cost of a single DPT shot had risen from 11 cents in 1982 to $11.40 in 1987. The manufacturers of the vaccine were putting aside $8 per shot to cover legal costs and damages they were paying out to parents of brain damaged children and children who died after vaccination. “Common Sense 2009” by Larry Flynt

August 24, 2009

Here’s what Rockefeller said in 1994 at a U.N. dinner: “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.”

They’re gaming us. Our country has been stolen from us.

Larry Flynt

Publisher of Hustler magazine and free speech advocate

The American government — which we once called our government — has been taken over by Wall Street, the mega-corporations and the super-rich. They are the ones who decide our fate. It is this group of powerful elites, the people President Franklin D. Roosevelt called “economic royalists,” who choose our elected officials — indeed, our very form of government. Both Democrats and Republicans dance to the tune of their corporate masters. In America, corporations do not control the government. In America, corporations are the government.

This was never more obvious than with the Wall Street bailout, whereby the very corporations that caused the collapse of our economy were rewarded with taxpayer dollars. So arrogant, so smug were they that, without a moment’s hesitation, they took our money — yours and mine — to pay their executives multimillion-dollar bonuses, something they continue doing to this very day. They have no shame. They don’t care what you and I think about them. Henry Kissinger refers to us as “useless eaters.”

But, you say, we have elected a candidate of change. To which I respond: Do these words of President Obama sound like change?

“A culture of irresponsibility took root, from Wall Street to Washington to Main Street.”
There it is. Right there. We are Main Street. We must, according to our president, share the blame. He went on to say: “And a regulatory regime basically crafted in the wake of a 20th-century economic crisis — the Great Depression — was overwhelmed by the speed, scope and sophistication of a 21st-century global economy.”

This is nonsense.

The reason Wall Street was able to game the system the way it did — knowing that they would become rich at the expense of the American people (oh, yes, they most certainly knew that) — was because the financial elite had bribed our legislators to roll back the protections enacted after the Stock Market Crash of 1929.

Congress gutted the Glass-Steagall Act, which separated commercial lending banks from investment banks, and passed the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, which allowed for self-regulation with no oversight. The Securities and Exchange Commission subsequently revised its rules to allow for even less oversight — and we’ve all seen how well that worked out. To date, no serious legislation has been offered by the Obama administration to correct these problems.

Instead, Obama wants to increase the oversight power of the Federal Reserve. Never mind that it already had significant oversight power before our most recent economic meltdown, yet failed to take action. Never mind that the Fed is not a government agency but a cartel of private bankers that cannot be held accountable by Washington. Whatever the Fed does with these supposed new oversight powers will be behind closed doors.

Obama’s failure to act sends one message loud and clear: He cannot stand up to the powerful Wall Street interests that supplied the bulk of his campaign money for the 2008 election. Nor, for that matter, can Congress, for much the same reason.

Consider what multibillionaire banker David Rockefeller wrote in his 2002 memoirs:

“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Read Rockefeller’s words again. He actually admits to working against the “best interests of the United States.”
Need more? Here’s what Rockefeller said in 1994 at a U.N. dinner: “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis, and the nations will accept the New World Order.” They’re gaming us. Our country has been stolen from us.

Journalist Matt Taibbi, writing in Rolling Stone, notes that esteemed economist John Kenneth Galbraith laid the 1929 crash at the feet of banking giant Goldman Sachs. Taibbi goes on to say that Goldman Sachs has been behind every other economic downturn as well, including the most recent one. As if that wasn’t enough, Goldman Sachs even had a hand in pushing gas prices up to $4 a gallon.

The problem with bankers is longstanding. Here’s what one of our Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson, had to say about them:

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation, and then by deflation, the banks and the corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their father’s conquered.”

We all know that the first American Revolution officially began in 1776, with the Declaration of Independence. Less well known is that the single strongest motivating factor for revolution was the colonists’ attempt to free themselves from the Bank of England. But how many of you know about the second revolution, referred to by historians as Shays’ Rebellion? It took place in 1786-87, and once again the banks were the cause. This time they were putting the screws to America’s farmers.Daniel Shays was a farmer in western Massachusetts. Like many other farmers of the day, he was being driven into bankruptcy by the banks’ predatory lending practices. (Sound familiar?) Rallying other farmers to his side, Shays led his rebels in an attack on the courts and the local armory. The rebellion itself failed, but a message had been sent: The bankers (and the politicians who supported them) ultimately backed off. As Thomas Jefferson famously quipped in regard to the insurrection: “A little rebellion now and then is a good thing. The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

Perhaps it’s time to consider that option once again.

I’m calling for a national strike, one designed to close the country down for a day. The intent? Real campaign-finance reform and strong restrictions on lobbying. Because nothing will change until we take corporate money out of politics. Nothing will improve until our politicians are once again answerable to their constituents, not the rich and powerful.

Let’s set a date. No one goes to work. No one buys anything. And if that isn’t effective — if the politicians ignore us — we do it again. And again. And again.

The real war is not between the left and the right. It is between the average American and the ruling class. If we come together on this single issue, everything else will resolve itself. It’s time we took back our government from those who would make us their slaves.

Tons of Imperial Fun: Hellfire Hillary Pours Oil on Somalia’s Fire

August 9, 2009

By Chris Floyed

August 7, 2009

There is apparently no path blazed by George W. Bush that Barack Obama will not eagerly follow. Surges, assassinations, indefinite detention, defense of torture, senseless wars and rampant militarism — in just a few short months, we’ve seen it all.

To this dismaying record of complicity and continuity, we can add an increasing direct involvement in the horrific, hydra-headed conflict in Somalia, whose latest round of fiery hell was instigated by the American-backed invasion of Somalia by Ethiopia in late 2006. Under Bush, U.S. forces were deeply and directly enmeshed in the murderous action, dropping bombs on fleeing refugees, “renditioning” other refugees to the tender mercies of Ethiopia’s notorious prisons, and even sending in death squads to clean up after missile strikes and bombings. (For background, see “Silent Surge: Bipartisan Terror War Intensifies in Somalia.“)

The result of that intervention has been the deaths of thousands of innocent people, the displacement and ruination of hundreds of thousands, and the creation of what many experts call the most dire humanitarian crisis in the world today. It has also resulted in the empowerment of violent sectarian groups and criminal gangs, who have stepped forth to fill the gaps of the fledgling state that the American-Ethiopian “regime change” operation destroyed.

So what do we see from the administration of “hope and change”? We see — wait for it — a new “surge” of direct American involvement in the war, with Obama’s most ferocious war hawk — sorry, his top diplomat — Hillary “The Obliterator” Clinton leading the charge. As Jason Ditz at reports, Clinton has pledged to double the recently announced supply of American weapons to Somalia’s “transitional government” — a weak reed cobbled together by Western interests from various CIA-paid warlords and other factions, and now headed, ironically, by the former leader of the aforementioned fledgling state overthrown by Washington. (Yes, it is hard to tell the players without a scorecard — or even with one. But if you follow the weapons and the money, you can usually tell who is temporarily on which side at any given moment.)

Clinton, bellicose as ever, accompanied the shipment of 80 tons of death-dealing hardware with a heavy dose of the wild fearmongering rhetoric we’ve come to know so well in this New American Century. As AP reports, she declared that the radical faction al-Shabab, now leading the insurgency against the transitional government, has only one goal in mind: bring in al Qaeda and destabilizing the whole entire world.

Yes, dear hearts, once again the survival of the planet — not to mention the sacred American way of life — is under imminent threat from a gang of evil maniacs; a threat requiring the urgent enrichment of the U.S. arms industry — sorry, I mean the urgent intervention of American know-how. For as the history of American foreign policy in the last 60 years has clearly shown us, there has never been an internal conflict in any country of the world that was not actually, deep down, a direct threat to all the sweet American babies sleeping in their cribs.

The interim Somali president, Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed — an Islamist who only a few years ago was considered by Washington as, well, an evil maniac in league with al Qaeda — agreed with Clinton, saying that al-Shabab aims to “make Somalia a ground to destabilize the whole world.” This would be the same al-Shabab that Ahmed has spent most of his presidency trying to negotiate a power-sharing agreement with. (Where’s that scorecard again?)

As usual, the AP story buries some of the most blazing, salient facts way down in the uncritical regurgitation of official rhetoric. But credit where it’s due, the story does finally note that the new American assistance is not confined to stuff that can kill more Somalis; it also includes – wait for it again — U.S. military “advisors” to help “train” the forces of the ever-collapsing transitional government.

Clinton also shook a sword at neighboring Eritrea, accusing it of supporting al-Shabab and “interfering” in Somalia’s internal affairs. This, while she was announcing the delivery of 80 tons of American weapons to be poured into Somalia’s internal affairs. This line is of course just an echo of the continual Bush-Obama warnings against “foreigners” interfering in Iraq. The gall of these gilded poltroons — denouncing foreign interference while standing on mountains of corpses produced by the endless American “interference” in other countries — is truly sublime. Clinton said that if Eritrea doesn’t start toeing the imperial line, “we intend to take actions.” (All you future Gold Star mothers and war widows out there better get out your atlases: your loved ones could soon be dying in yet another part of the world you never heard of.)

What will be the effect of this new “humanitarian intervention” of weapons and advisers? Same as it ever was: more death, more ruin, more suffering, more extremism, more hatred, more sorrow — and more money for the war profiteers. That is the point, isn’t it?

Bombshell: Bin Laden worked for US until 9/11

August 3, 2009

Former FBI translator and founder of the National Security Whistleblowers Coalition, Sibel Edmonds.

Against All Enemies
July 31, 2009

Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript).

Sibel Edmonds on the Mike Malloy Show, hour 1

Sibel Edmonds on the Mike Malloy Show, hour 2

In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained ‘intimate relations’ with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, “all the way until that day of September 11.”

These ‘intimate relations’ included using Bin Laden for ‘operations’ in Central Asia, including Xinjiang, China. These ‘operations’ involved using al Qaeda and the Taliban in the same manner “as we did during the Afghan and Soviet conflict,” that is, fighting ‘enemies’ via proxies.

As Sibel has previously described, and as she reiterates in this latest interview, this process involved using Turkey (with assistance from ‘actors from Pakistan, and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia’) as a proxy, which in turn used Bin Laden and the Taliban and others as a proxy terrorist army.

Control of Central Asia

The goals of the American ’statesmen’ directing these activities included control of Central Asia’s vast energy supplies and new markets for military products.

The Americans had a problem, though. They needed to keep their fingerprints off these operations to avoid a) popular revolt in Central Asia ( Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan), and b) serious repercussions from China and Russia. They found an ingenious solution: Use their puppet-state Turkey as a proxy, and appeal to both pan-Turkic and pan-Islam sensibilities.

Turkey, a NATO ally, has a lot more credibility in the region than the US and, with the history of the Ottoman Empire, could appeal to pan-Turkic dreams of a wider sphere of influence. The majority of the Central Asian population shares the same heritage, language and religion as the Turks.

In turn, the Turks used the Taliban and al Qaeda, appealing to their dreams of a pan-Islamic caliphate (Presumably. Or maybe the Turks/US just paid very well.)

According to Sibel:

This started more than a decade-long illegal, covert operation in Central Asia by a small group in the US intent on furthering the oil industry and the Military Industrial Complex, using Turkish operatives, Saudi partners and Pakistani allies, furthering this objective in the name of Islam.

Sibel was recently asked to write about the recent situation with the Uighurs in Xinjiang, but she declined, apart from saying that “our fingerprint is all over it.”

Of course, Sibel isn’t the first or only person to recognize any of this. Eric Margolis, one of the best reporters in the West on matters of Central Asia, stated that the Uighurs in the training camps in Afghanistan up to 2001:

“were being trained by Bin Laden to go and fight the communist Chinese in Xinjiang, and this was not only with the knowledge, but with the support of the CIA, because they thought they might use them if war ever broke out with China.”

And also that:

“Afghanistan was not a hotbed of terrorism, these were commando groups, guerrilla groups, being trained for specific purposes in Central Asia.”

In a separate interview, Margolis said:

“That illustrates Henry Kissinger’s bon mot that the only thing more dangerous than being America’s enemy is being an ally, because these people were paid by the CIA, they were armed by the US, these Chinese Muslims from Xinjiang, the most-Western province.

The CIA was going to use them in the event of a war with China, or just to raise hell there, and they were trained and supported out of Afghanistan, some of them with Osama Bin Laden’s collaboration. The Americans were up to their ears with this.”

Rogues Gallery

Last year, Sibel came up with a brilliant idea to expose some of the criminal activity that she is forbidden to speak about: she published eighteen photos, titled “Sibel Edmonds’ State Secrets Privilege Gallery,” of people involved the operations that she has been trying to expose. One of those people is Anwar Yusuf Turani, the so-called ‘President-in-exile’ of East Turkistan (Xinjiang). This so-called ‘government-in-exile’ was ‘established‘ on Capitol Hill in September, 2004, drawing a sharp rebuke from China.

Also featured in Sibel’s Rogues Gallery was ‘former’ spook Graham Fuller, who was instrumental in the establishment of Turani’s ‘government-in-exile’ of East Turkistan. Fuller has written extensively on Xinjiang, and his “ Xinjiang Project” for Rand Corp is apparently the blueprint for Turani’s government-in-exile. Sibel has openly stated her contempt for Mr. Fuller.

The Turkish establishment has a long history of mingling matters of state with terrorism, drug trafficking and other criminal activity, best exemplified by the 1996 Susurluk incident which exposed the so-called Deep State.

Sibel states that “a few main Susurluk actors also ended up in Chicago where they centered ‘certain’ aspects of their operations (Especially East Turkistan-Uighurs).”

One of the main Deep State actors, Mehmet Eymur, former Chief of Counter-Terrorism for Turkey’s intelligence agency, the MIT, features in Sibel’s Rogues Gallery. Eymur was given exile in the US. Another member of Sibel’s gallery, Marc Grossman was Ambassador to Turkey at the time that the Susurluk incident exposed the Deep State. He was recalled shortly after, prior to the end of his assignment, as was Grossman’s underling, Major Douglas Dickerson, who later tried to recruit Sibel into the spying ring.

The modus operandi of the Susurluk gang is the same as the activities that Sibel describes as taking place in Central Asia, the only difference is that this activity was exposed in Turkey a decade ago, whereas the organs of the state in the US, including the corporate media, have successfully suppressed this story.

Chechnya, Albania & Kosovo

Central Asia is not the only place where American foreign policy makers have shared interests with Bin Laden. Consider the war in Chechnya. As I documented here, Richard Perle and Stephen Solarz (both in Sibel’s gallery) joined other leading neocon luminaries such as Elliott Abrams, Kenneth Adelman, Frank Gaffney, Michael Ledeen, James Woolsey, and Morton Abramowitz in a group called the American Committee for Peace in Chechnya (ACPC). For his part, Bin Laden donated $25 million to the cause, as well as numerous fighters, and technical expertise, establishing training camps.

US interests also converged with those of al-Qaeda in Kosovo and Albania.

Of course, it is not uncommon for circumstances to arise where ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend.’ On the other hand, in a transparent democracy, we expect a full accounting of the circumstances leading up to a tragic event like 9/11. The 9/11 Commission was supposed to provide exactly that.

State Secrets

Sibel has famously been dubbed the most gagged woman in America, having the State Secrets Privilege imposed on her twice. Her 3.5 hour testimony to the 9/11 Commission has been entirely suppressed, reduced to a single footnote which refers readers to her classified testimony.

In the interview, she says that the information that was classified in her case specifically identifies that the US was using Bin Laden and the Taliban in Central Asia, including Xinjiang. In the interview, Sibel reiterates that when invoking the gag orders, the US government claims that it is protecting ” ’sensitive diplomatic relations,’ protecting Turkey, protecting Israel, protecting Pakistan, protecting Saudi Arabia…” This is no doubt partially true, but it is also true that they are protecting themselves too, and it is a crime in the US to use classification and secrecy to cover up crimes.

As Sibel says in the interview:

I have information about things that our government has lied to us about… those things can be proven as lies, very easily, based on the information they classified in my case, because we did carry very intimate relationship with these people, and it involves Central Asia, all the way up to September 11.

The bombshell here is obviously that certain people in the US were using Bin Laden up to September 11, 2001.

It is important to understand why: the US outsourced terror operations to al Qaeda and the Taliban for many years, promoting the Islamization of Central Asia in an attempt to personally profit off military sales as well as oil and gas concessions.

The silence by the US government on these matters is deafening. So, too, is the blowback.

Barack Obama and the Democrats did not inherit the bad economy; they caused it and made it worse

Rolling Stone: The Great American Bubble Machine

Matt Taibbi on how Goldman Sachs has engineered every major market manipulation since the Great Depression.

In Rolling Stone Issue 1082-83, Matt Taibbi takes on “the Wall Street Bubble Mafia” — investment bank Goldman Sachs. The piece has generated controversy, with Goldman Sachs firing back that Taibbi’s piece is “an hysterical compilation of conspiracy theories” and a spokesman adding, “We reject the assertion that we are inflators of bubbles and profiteers in busts, and we are painfully conscious of the importance in being a force for good.” Taibbi shot back: “Goldman has its alumni pushing its views from the pulpit of the U.S. Treasury, the NYSE, the World Bank, and numerous other important posts; it also has former players fronting major TV shows. They have the ear of the president if they want it.” Here, now, are excerpts from Matt Taibbi’s piece and video of Taibbi exploring the key issues.

Hillary Clinton admits that the CFR runs the Government

LRC Blog
July 18, 2009

As with a recent blog I did about a Rothschild puppet blatantly promoting a One World Government solution to our “man-made” global warming “crisis,” now Secretary of State (and CFR member) Clintonadmits in her latest address to the Council on Foreign Relations what Carroll Quigley wrote about inTragedy and Hope (Chapter 65), Dan Smoot wrote about in  The Invisible Government, and Gary Allen wrote about in None Dare Call It Conspiracy:

“Thank you very much, Richard, and I am delighted to be here in these new headquarters. I have been often to, I guess, the mother ship in New York City, but it’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department. We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing and how we should think about the future. [emphasis mine]

I can assure you that when I was in public school in the 1960s and early 1970s, not once did I ever hear about an organization called the Council on Foreign Relations in any of my history classes. If this organization seems to have such a powerful influence on the Federal Government’s actions, why have I only been hearing about it in the past decade? Hmmmmm.

Robert M. Bowman On Alex Jones

July 9, 2009

“This is a good overview for people who have no idea what is really happening in this country. A “Dot Dot Dot For Dummies” kind of overview of American politics and World politics. This is what is happening. Stop living in denial and stop supporting an administration that used your liberal goodwill by baiting you with the promise of change by ushering in a fake, (corporate shill puppet), black President.

I hate to say it but… wake up people. Your civil liberties will be on the chopping block for good soon, if all you good people do not speak up. Get your confidence back and start standing up for yourselves.”

NSA Secret Database Ensnared President Clinton’s Private E-mail

June 18, 2009

  • By Kim Zetter Email Author
  • June 17, 2009

A secret NSA surveillance database containing millions of intercepted foreign and domestic e-mails includes the personal correspondence of former President Bill Clinton, according to theNew York Times.

An NSA intelligence analyst was apparently investigated after accessing Clinton’s personal correspondence in the database, the paper reports, though it didn’t say how many of Clinton’s e-mails were captured or when the interception occurred.

The database, codenamed Pinwale, allows NSA analysts to search through and read large volumes of e-mail messages, including correspondence to and from Americans.  Pinwale is likely the end point for data sucked from internet backbones into NSA-run surveillance rooms at AT&T facilities around the country.

Those rooms were set up by the Bush administration following 9/11, and were finally legalized last year when Congress passed the FISA Amendments Act. The law gives the telecoms immunity for cooperating with the administration; it also opens the way for the NSA to lawfully spy on large groups of phone numbers and e-mail addresses in bulk, instead of having to obtain a warrant for each target.

The NSA can collect the correspondence of Americans with a court order, or without one if the interception occurs incidentally while the agency is targeting people “reasonably believed” to be overseas. But in 2005, the agency “routinely examined large volumes of Americans’ e-mail messages without court warrants,” according to the Times, through this loophole. The paper reports today that the NSA is continuing to over-collect e-mail because of difficulties in filtering and distinguishing between foreign and domestic correspondence.

If an American’s correspondence pops up in search results when analysts sift through the database, the analyst is allowed to read it, provided such messages account for no more than 30 percent of a search result, the paper reported.

The NSA has claimed that the over-collection was inadvertent and corrected it each time the problem was discovered. But Rep. Rush Holt (D-New Jersey), chairman of the House Select Intelligence Oversight Panel, disputed this. “Some actions are so flagrant that they can’t be accidental,” he told the Times.

Holt and other congressional reps have been holding closed-door meetings on the issue. Holt’s office said there are no current plans to hold a hearing on the matter, but the investigation is on-going.

North Korea Nuclear Crisis Was Engineered By Design

June 16, 2009

The current crisis with North Korea was created entirely by design. Back in the 1990s, then President Bill Clinton signed a nuclear agreement with North Korea where nuclear technology was provided to them in exchange for the promise that they would freeze their own nuclear program. North Korea received modern light-water nuclear reactors from the U.S. , which has accelerated their ability to create nuclear weapons. Should it be any surprise that the North Koreans have a nuclear weapon after nuclear technology was given to them in the mid-1990s? Much like how the U.S. provided chemical weapons to Saddam Hussein during the 1980s to create an eventual enemy, they have also done the same with North Korea.

The following is taken from a 1994 London Independent article describing the nuclear deal struck with the North Koreans during the Clinton administration.

PRESIDENT Bill Clinton hailed the nuclear agreement signed in Geneva with North Korea yesterday as ‘a good deal for the United States’. Sceptics, however, saw the deal as having been done on North Korean terms.

Apart from being good for the US, said Mr Clinton, ‘South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of weapons.’ Robert Gallucci, the chief US negotiator with North Korea, handed over a letter from Mr Clinton at yesterday’s signing ceremony which committed him personally to American implementation of the agreement.

Under the terms of the deal, North Korea will freeze its nuclear programme, thought to be aimed at developing nuclear weapons, and dismantle its existing reactors, which produce high quantities of weapons-grade plutonium.

In return Pyongyang will receive modern light-water reactors, whose dollars 4bn ( pounds 2.7bn) cost will be borne mainly by South Korea and Japan.

These reactors will be reliant on imported fuel, and will produce far less plutonium. Until they come into service in about 2003, the international community will pay for North Korea’s oil imports, with the US contributing dollars 5m for next year’s bill.

Donald Rumsfeld who visited Saddam Hussein in 1983 as part of the Reagan administration’s special envoy to the Middle East played a key role in helping provide chemical weapons to Iraq. These weapons provided to Iraq by the U.S. would be used against the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war as well as against their own domestic population.  The use of chemical weapons by Hussein was one of the reasons the Bush 41 and Bush 43 administrations used as an excuse to engage in military operations against Iraq.  This is despite the fact that the U.S. provided the chemical weapons to Iraq to begin with.

Rumsfeld was also linked to the North Korean nuclear agreement. Rumsfeld sat on the board of ASEA Brown Boveri or ABB the Swiss Engineering firm that was contracted by the U.S. to provide the two nuclear reactors to the North Koreans from 1990 – 2001. The deal would go through in 2000 while Rumsfeld was still sitting on the company’s board.

It is easy to see how this situation in North Korea is an engineered crisis much like Iraq was. If the Clinton administration hadn’t facilitated a deal to provide them with modern nuclear technology in the mid-1990s, it is likely that the North Koreans would still be trying to figure out how to build nuclear weapons. The fact that Bill Clinton’s wife and now U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is condemning North Korea due to their nuclear weapons tests and continued pursuit of nuclear weapons is an absolute joke considering her husband helped them along in the process by giving them access to modern nuclear technology. This is just another scenario showing how the U.S. creates artificial crises as part of the problem – reaction – solution paradigm that is used over and over again to push us closer to world government.

Geithner faces sluggish market, rents out NY home

June 5, 2009

“What a bullshit story. Trying to show that Geithner is having a tough time in this market too. And that this modest home is their main house. Come on. It’s probably his dogs nannies house. Don’t put the American public in a position where they are suppose to feel bad because the Geithner Family has to rent in this economy.  Geithner and Summer’s and the rest of the Obama crew, (via Clinton crew), who laid the ground work for this controlled collapse of our and the worlds economies. Fuck him and his families real estate problems. And this pentagon propaganda piece of dog doo-doo article that is trying to portray one of it’s little weasel minions as a working upper-middle class stiff. We don’t buy your rag stories any more. Your media is almost completely transparent to a growing number of strong free-thinking Americans. You have no where to hide once the jig is up.”

Treasury secretary grapples with sluggish market — for his own suburban NY home

NEW YORK (AP) — The real estate market’s troubles are hitting close to home for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

After reducing the price on his house in a tony New York City suburb to less than he paid for it, Geithner still couldn’t sell and recently rented it out instead, according to real estate agents familiar with the deal.

Geithner put his five-bedroom Tudor near leafy Larchmont on the market for $1.635 million in February, after heading to Washington for his job as the nation’s top economic official.

A few weeks after the asking price was dropped to $1.575 million, the home was rented for $7,500 a month on May 21, said the agents, Scott Stiefvater of Stiefvater Real Estate and Debbie Meiliken of Keller Williams Realty New York.

Neither was directly involved in the rental; the name of the broker and agency that arranged it were not immediately available.

Although $7,500 might seem like a lot of rent, it probably falls a bit short of the monthly mortgage payments on the Geithners’ two loans totaling $1.25 million, plus $27,000 a year in property taxes.

Treasury Department representatives didn’t immediately return calls about Geithner’s home Monday and Tuesday. He was in Beijing for talks with Chinese leaders.

Records show Geithner and his wife, Carole Sonnenfeld Geithner, paid $1.602 million for the home in 2004.

The roller-coaster housing market helped spawn the recession Geithner is tasked with ending. Nationwide, the median home price in April — $170,200 — was more than 15 percent lower than in the same month last year.

Prices have declined at about the same rate in Geithner’s home base of Westchester County, which includes a string of upscale suburbs north of New York City. At $532,000, the median Westchester home price in the first quarter of this year is at a level last seen in 2003, according to the Westchester-Putnam Multiple Listing Service. Sales have been especially slow in the $1 million-plus range, the real estate information service said.

Despite some signs of a national housing-market turnaround, analysts expect prices to take some time to stabilize because of the overload of homes available.

In the meantime, many homeowners, like the Geithners, are deciding to rent their properties, brokers say.

Some are buying themselves time to wait for prices to rise. Others are trying to cut the cost of carrying their unsold homes, even if their tenants’ rent doesn’t entirely cover it.

“There are people who just cannot come down off their asking price because they just cannot afford to lose $200,000 or $300,000, so they’re saying, ‘Let me just put a Band-Aid on it temporarily,'” Stiefvater said. “Losing a couple of thousand versus $5,000 or $6,000 a month, that’s a lot better.”

Geithner, 47, was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York before becoming treasury secretary.

His Westchester home has a Larchmont mailing address but is just outside the village boundaries in the town of Mamaroneck, a yachting hub and the home of the Winged Foot Golf Club, a frequent site of professional championships.

The 1931 home has been renovated, making it appealing to renters looking for a ready-to-move-in home, Meiliken said.

“Geithner’s house was definitely something that you could be happy to live in for a while without having to put any money in it,” she said.

New Alex Jones Documentary Pays Homage To Maverick Patriot Aaron Russo

“I loved this guy. This is someone who really didn’t have to do what he did. Like any trailblazer in the fight for freedom of all people he died an early death. They probably have a nice quick and discreet way to contaminate people with cancer down at the C.I.A. The damage is done though and Russo planted some very important seeds that will never go away.”

Alex Jones’ latest DVD documentary release, Reflections And Warnings – An Interview With Aaron Russo, pays homage to maverick patriot Aaron Russo, who left this mortal coil in August 2007 after a long battle with cancer. The film is a 90 minute full version of Jones’ seminal interview with Russo, which took place months before his death.

This was Russo’s final videotaped interview before he passed away, but his legacy as the founder of the movement to end the power monopoly of the Federal Reserve makes the documentary more contemporary than ever before in light of how the Federal Reserve has increased its stranglehold over the American economy since the beginning of the financial crisis last year.

The DVD is interspersed with new footage of Jones highlighting the progression of many things that Russo warned were part of the ultimate agenda for the prison planet before he passed away.

Russo was perhaps best known for managing star of stage and screen Bette Midler, as well as producing Trading Places starring Eddie Murphy, but his last great work was undoubtedly the most important of his life – Russo’s groundbreaking exposé of the criminal run-for-profit Federal Reserve system, the documentary America: From Freedom to Fascism.

The interview opens with Russo talking about how he first started to become aware of the fact that something was very wrong in America, when cops set him up and raided his Chicago night club and later demanded protection money, mafia style.

The conversation on the DVD features many shocking revelations that were divulged by Russo’s one-time close friend Nick Rockefeller about the elite’s agenda for mankind.

After his popular video Mad As Hell was released and he began his campaign to become Governor of Nevada, Russo was noticed by Rockefeller and introduced to him by a female attorney. Seeing Russo’s passion and ability to affect change, Rockefeller set about on a subtle mission to recruit Russo into the elite.

During one conversation, Rockefeller asked Russo if he was interested in joining the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) but Russo rejected the invitation, saying he had no interest in “enslaving the people” to which Rockefeller coldly questioned why he cared about the “serfs.”

“I used to say to him what’s the point of all this,” said Russo, “you have all the money in the world you need, you have all the power you need, what’s the point, what’s the end goal?” to which Rockefeller replied (paraphrasing), “The end goal is to get everybody chipped, to control the whole society, to have the bankers and the elite people control the world.”

Rockefeller even assured Russo that if he joined the elite his chip would be specially marked so as to avoid undue inspection by the authorities.

In another conversation, Russo states that Rockefeller told him, “Eleven months before 9/11 happened there was going to be an event and out of that event we were going to invade Afghanistan to run pipelines through the Caspian sea, we were going to invade Iraq to take over the oil fields and establish a base in the Middle East, and we’d go after Chavez in Venezuela.”

Rockefeller also told Russo that he would see soldiers looking in caves in Afghanistan and Pakistan for Osama bin Laden and that there would be an “Endless war on terror where there’s no real enemy and the whole thing is a giant hoax,” so that “the government could take over the American people,” according to Russo, who said that Rockefeller was cynically laughing and joking as he made the astounding prediction.

“Eleven months to a year later that’s what happened….he certainly knew that something was going to happen,” said Russo.

In a later conversation, Rockefeller asked Russo what he thought women’s liberation was about. Russo’s response that he thought it was about the right to work and receive equal pay as men, just as they had won the right to vote, caused Rockefeller to laughingly retort, “You’re an idiot! Let me tell you what that was about, we the Rockefeller’s funded that, we funded women’s lib, we’re the one’s who got all of the newspapers and television – the Rockefeller Foundation.”

Rockefeller told Russo of two primary reasons why the elite bankrolled women’s lib, one because before women’s lib the bankers couldn’t tax half the population and two because it allowed them to get children in school at an earlier age, enabling them to be indoctrinated into accepting the state as the primary family, breaking up the traditional family model.

This revelation dovetails previous admissions on behalf of feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem (pictured)that the CIA bankrolled Ms. Magazine as part of the same agenda of breaking up traditional family models.

Rockefeller was often keen to stress his idea that “the people have to be ruled” by an elite and that one of the tools of such power was population reduction, that there were “too many people in the world,” and world population numbers should be reduced by at least half.

Russo talks at length in the interview about how any attempt at taking America back from the criminal elite needs to be focused around dismantling the private criminal enterprise known as the Federal Reserve, by returning America to a system where the government prints its own money backed by gold without having to be in debt and pay interest to a private cabal of elitists.

At the end of the interview, Russo describes how he had plans to further fight the new world order once he overcame his cancer, which unfortunately was not to be. However, Aaron’s legacy will live on through this interview, through his outstanding documentary America: From Freedom To Fascism and through the countless people in his life who he brought joy to by way of his engaging, warm and above all, innately human personality.

Watch the trailer for the documentary below.

Revolution in the air

May 24, 2009

By Dan Jones
Author, Summer of Blood

The anger in the air is palpable. The ordinary people hold the political class in contempt.

The government is failing, as war and economic catastrophe are dealt with in increasingly unconvincing fashion by second-rate public servants. There is, for the first time in a generation, a sense of revolution brewing.

This is not today’s Britain. It is England in 1381, the year that witnessed one of the greatest popular risings in our history: the Peasants’ Revolt.

Between May and November that year, England was seized by spasms of popular rebellion, provoked by poll taxes and a disastrous war, and underpinned by the common belief that the government was a pack of scoundrels.

Towns and villages from Somerset to Scarborough rose against their rulers, beating and sometimes killing MPs, lawyers, landowners and politicians, tearing down their homes and vandalising their land.

Bloody revenge

At the heart of the rising was a march on London on Corpus Christi weekend (Thursday 13 to Saturday 15 June).

Traditionally this was a time of mystery plays and festive processions. In 1381, the main procession consisted of villagers from the Thames estuary marching along the pilgrim road between Canterbury and London, burning houses and taking political prisoners as they protested against their venal, incompetent masters.

Wat Tyler's mob burning St John's Monastery near Smithfield, London

The peasant’s revolt ransacked London before it was put down

When the protestors, led by their general Wat Tyler and the maverick preacher John Ball, reached London, they found they had significant common cause with the townsmen.

The London populace bore long-held grudges towards their own ruling elites – which included the oligarchic, super-rich merchant traders in the City as well as the hapless courtiers who governed in the name of 14-year old King Richard.

Common fury with the state of lordship bound rural and urban rebels in a compact to clean up government.

So the town mice opened their gates to the country mice, and together they all set about the cats.

At first there were organised protests, attacks on specific, symbolic landmarks: the Savoy Palace, home of the powerful and unpopular duke of Lancaster, was burned to the ground; the Temple, home of the legal profession, was sacked. Prisons were broken open and the Tower of London, where the government had holed up, was besieged.

Demonstrations became riots. A chopping block was set up at Cheapside, where the street ran sticky with the blood of the condemned.

Portrait of Richard II

Kind Richard II was only 14 years old when faced with the rebellion

The Archbishop of Canterbury had his head hacked off on Tower Hill. The Treasurer was murdered, as – in Suffolk – was a Chief Justice.

Some 140 Flemish merchants and their families were butchered on the banks of the Thames, in a shocking xenophobic massacre.

But for the luck of the young king, Richard II, and the fortitude of a few good men around him led by Mayor of London, William Walworth, the City would have been burned to the ground.

Tyler and his mob were eventually defeated at Smithfield, but it took nearly six months to calm the rest of the country.

Political revolt

The summer of discontent left a profound mark on the English political consciousness.

A few lines written, prior to the rebellion, by the Kentish poet John Gower, were suddenly recognised as an important tenet of government.

“There are three things of such a sort that they produce merciless destruction when they get the upper hand,” he wrote.

“One is a flood of water, another is a raging fire and the third is the lesser people, the common multitude; for they will not be stopped by either reason or by discipline.”

I have thought many times during the past months that our politicians would benefit from revisiting the events of the Peasants’ Revolt.

In many ways it is a tale of mutual misunderstanding: the ordinary folk thought the worst of their politicians, and politicians saw their people as an economic resource, to be taxed and tormented as the necessities of government demanded.

Skeleton from the Great Plague discovered in Spitalfields Market

The Black Death was a major factor in fermenting anti-government feeling

This government, like the government in 1381, has been caught out by a global crisis of unprecedented severity.

In the fourteenth century it was the Black Death, which killed 40% of Europe’s population.

The government’s reaction – to impose labour laws that stifled economic recovery but preserved the social hierarchy, was vastly unpopular, for it prevented ordinary people from improving their lives.

Now, it is the collapse in global credit which has brought a different sort of misery to millions.

No doubt there are many differences between 1381 and 2009. They were medieval, we are modern. And history never repeats itself as exactly as historians sometimes wish.

But if I were an MP today, I would make it my business to learn the course and the lessons of 1381 by heart. Then I would give thanks that there are no longer any chopping blocks at Cheapside.

Economists’ letter spells out what went wrong

May 13, 2009

Last Updated: 7:13PM BST 11 May 2009

Dear Sir,

The prevailing view amongst the commentariat (reflected in the recent deliberations of the G20) that the financial crash of 2008 was caused by market failure is both wrong and dangerous. Government failure had a leading role in creating the conditions that led to the crash.

  • Central banks created a monetary bubble that fed an asset price boom and distorted the pricing of risk.
  • US government policy encouraged high-risk lending through support for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (which had explicit government targets of providing over 50pc of mortgage finance to poor households) and through the Community Reinvestment Act and related regulations.
  • Regulators and central bankers failed to use their considerable powers to stop risks building up in the financial system and an extension of regulation will not make a future crash less likely.
  • Much existing banking regulation exacerbated the crisis and reduced the effectiveness of market monitoring of banks. The FSA, in the UK, has failed in its statutory duty to “maintain market confidence”.
  • The tax and regulatory systems encourage complex and opaque methods of increasing gearing in the financial system.
  • Financial institutions that have made mistakes have lost the majority of their value. On the other hand, regulators are being rewarded for failure by an extension of their size and powers.
  • Evidence suggests that serious systemic problems have not arisen amongst unregulated institutions.

As such, no significant changes are needed to the regulatory environment surrounding hedge funds, short-selling, offshore banks, private equity or tax havens.

A revolution in financial regulation is needed. The proposals of the G20 governments and the EU are wholly misconceived. Specific and targeted laws and regulations could restore market discipline. These should include:

  • Making bank depositors prior creditors. This will provide better incentives for prudent behaviour and make a call on deposit insurance funds less likely.
  • Provisions to ensure an orderly winding up, recapitalisation or sale of systemic financial institutions in difficulty. Banks must be allowed to fail.
  • Enhancing market disclosure by ensuring that banks report relevant information to shareholders.

This should be reinforced with central bank action to ensure that:

  • Proper use is made of lender-of-last-resort facilities to deal with illiquid banks.
  • The growth of broad money is monitored together with the build-up of wider inflationary risks.

Yours faithfully,

Obama’s Chilling Crew: The legal harassment of those investigating Tony Rezko

May 11, 2009

April 27, 2009

Andrew Walden (Hawaii Free Press)

Why is there so little media investigation of the financing behind Barack Obama’s early political sponsor—and now convicted felon—Tony Rezko?

The dual US-Syrian citizen Rezko–who assisted Obama in the purchase of his Chicago mansion–was heavily funded by loans from Iraqi-British ex-Baathist billionaire Nadhmi Auchi. According to testimony at Rezko’s trial, Obama met Auchi at an April 3, 2004 event at Rezko’s home during Obama’s 2004 US Senate campaign. The Times of London reports discovering, “state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to Mr. Obama’s fundraiser in May 2005.” Fintrade directors, according to The Times “include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr. Auchi’s wife”.

Media bias is an easy—and intellectually lazy–explanation. Journalists digging into stories involving Auchi often find themselves peppered with threats of libel litigation from a London law firm known as Carter-Ruck. Hawai’i Free Press has received several such letters.

In a free society, one might expect reporters confident of the accuracy of their reporting to shrug off such threats. But Auchi’s attorneys are operating under the laws of an increasingly un-free society—England.

Auchi’s litigation threats have chased eight articles from the internet sites of the UK Guardian, Observer and New Statesman. Sweden-based website Wikileaks has posted the eight articles but writes:

“The censorship of The New Statesman’s political editor, Martin Bright, who was co-author for some of the Guardian and Observer articles, is particularly galling. In April Mr. Bright warned New Statesman readers about the censorship of the Guardian and Observer in an article on the Index on Censorship’s annual Freedom of Expression Awards (one of which was won by Wikileaks). Then, in a bow to Kafka’s The Trial, Mr. Bright’s warning was in its turn censored by legal threats from Auchi.”

Wikileaks itself is now under legal attack by Auchi’s lawyers.

What is so stifling about English libel law? Carter-Ruck explains on its own website:

“A libel claimant does not have to prove that the words are false or to prove that he has in fact suffered any loss. Damage is presumed.”

In a December, 2003, obituary, former C-R partner David Hooper wrote:

“The libel lawyer Peter Carter-Ruck, who died on Friday, had a chilling effect on the media. He was a chancer, out for the maximum fee. And he did for freedom of speech what the Boston Strangler did for door-to-door salesmen.”

Posted on the Carter-Ruck website, an article by C-R partner Nigel Tait outlines four very specific “matters the courts consider suitable for injunction.” These include “unauthorized topless shots of women….” Tait then points out that in spite of these limited legal bases for “prior restraint” some publishers can be convinced to censor themselves by “the first two (sic) weapons of the Spanish Inquisition. Fear, surprise and ruthless efficiency.”

(UPDATE: The Tait article has now vanished from the CR website, but readers can still see it HERE )

Perhaps hoping to inspire “fear and surprise” with “ruthless efficiency” Carter-Ruck demand letters—laden with misspellings and what appear to be cut-and-paste formulations–have been going out not only to large British newspapers, but also to American newspapers and both well-known and obscure bloggers. April 23, 2008—in the midst of the US Presidential race–an article on Auchi’s Middle East Online website boasted of knocking articles off of the Guardian and Observer websites. Bloggers began receiving Carter-Ruck letters demanding that allegedly defamatory comments be removed from their comments section. MEO displayed a sphinx-like image of Auchi. The caption: “Tracking even the search engines.”

It worked. When the November election came and went, the American public barely knew Rezko and knew Auchi even less. Obama won.

Hawai’i Free Press received an emailed letter from Carter-Ruck February 10, 2009. It was followed by faxes and mailings. Then the phone calls started. C-R staffer Nuala Guiney rang this writer’s cell phone at 1AM and again at 5AM one morning. The demand: “cease publishing these false and defamatory allegations about our client by forthwith removing them.” C-R also claims: “You should be aware that our client has lived and worked in England for over 25 years and that your article is likely to have been read by a substantial number of readers in England. Accordingly, in relation to publication of the article in England, it will be subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the court in England.”

The letter is labeled “Not for Publication”. Like many of the things one finds under a rock, Carter-Ruck’s “fear and surprise” works better in secret. Like Tait’s article, this is a sign of weakness on their part. Their letter was sent to a publication and concerns matters of public interest. Hawai’i Free Press is not bound by such unilateral declarations. The Carter-Ruck letters are published along with the reply from Hawai’i Free Press attorneys in pdf file at this link.

In response The Legal Project of the Middle East Forum assisted Hawai’i Free Press in obtaining representation. According to its website, “The Legal Project, as part of the Middle East Forum, aims to protect researchers and analysts who work on the topics of terrorism, terrorist funding, and radical Islam from lawsuits designed to silence their exercise of free speech.” Volunteering his services: Chicago attorney Timothy Kapshandy and a team from Sidley Austin.

Concerned attorneys are not alone is stepping forward. In the U.S. efforts are underway to prevent foreign court libel judgments from infringing on the First Amendment guarantees of press freedom. On May 7, 2008 Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) was among those announcing introduction of the Free Speech Protection Act which has been referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee for consideration. He explained: “The United Kingdom has become a popular venue for defamation plaintiffs from around the world, because under English law it is not necessary for a libel plaintiff to prove falsity or actual malice as is required in the United States.”

Senator Lieberman’s Free Speech Protection Act is modeled on “Rachel’s Law” signed April 30, 2008 by New York Governor David Paterson. Rachel’s Law had passed both houses of the New York state legislature unanimously March 31 after being introduced with bi-partisan support. “Rachel” is Rachel Ehrenfeld, an investigative journalist and author of Funding Evil: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It.

Ehrenfeld’s 2003 book, published in the U.S., pointed to Saudi multi-millionaire Khalid Salim Bin Mahfouz as a funding source for al-Qaeda prior to 9-11. Mahfouz sued. He is Saudi; the book, its author and publisher are American; but rather than coming to a U.S. court, Mahfouz selected English jurisdiction in a typical case of “libel tourism.” Ehrenfeld did not answer the English suit and instead countersued in U.S. federal court.

Holder says he approved Clinton-era renditions

May 8, 2009

Double the freak-show!

“Hey Democrats! Your guys are just as fucked-up! Get it through those loving & caring, (but a bit gullible and too trusting), brains of yours. Eric Holder is Obama’s A.G. for those of you who love Obama but know nothing of the menace of an administration that is behind him. Ya, Holder is the one trying to take law abiding American citizens gun rights away. He’s totally awesome.

-F.F. 5/7/09

Under fire from Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday, Attorney General Eric Holder revealed that he had approved of rendition — essentially, legalized kidnapping — apparently more than once during his tenure as President Bill Clinton’s deputy attorney general.

Cautioning Holder that any potential investigation into the Bush administration’s torture program could result in Democrats being roped in, “Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Richard Shelby of Alabama pressed Holder on the CIA’s ‘rendition’ program that moved terrorism suspects from one country to another,”reported Domenico Montanaro with MSNBC.

“Didn’t that happen during the Clinton administration?

“Yes, Holder said.

“‘How many did you approve?’ they asked.

“Holder said he’d check the record.”

Despite frequent condemnation of the practice around the world, rendition — the secret capture, transportation and detention of suspected terrorists to foreign prisons in countries that cooperate with the U.S. — remains in the CIA’s playbook, thanks to a Jan. 22 executive order issued by President Obama.

Under President George W. Bush, renditions became “extraordinary renditions,” in which suspects were handed over to nations where torture was not illegal. Rendition under Presidents Clinton and Obama has not been linked to torture.

Holder has been, at least in public, an opponent of the torture program.

“Waterboarding is torture. My justice department will not justify it, will not rationalize it and will not condone it,” Holder said in a speech to the Jewish Council of Public Affairs in March.

“The use and sanction of torture is at odds with the history of American jurisprudence and American values. It undermines our ability to pursue justice fairly, and it puts our own brave soldiers in peril should they ever be captured on a foreign battlefield.”

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was briefed in 2002 on the torture tactics the Bush administration wanted to use against terror war prisoners. At the time, she did not object. In April of 2009, she denied knowing the techniques would ever be applied to prisoners.

“[They] did not tell us they were using that,” she said. “Flat out. And any — any contention to the contrary is simply not true.”

RAW STORY was the first news outlet to identify the exact location of one of the sites in the CIA’s secret prison network, used in conjunction with Bush-era extraordinary renditions. RAW STORY identified a prison in northeastern Poland, Stare Kiejkuty, that was used as a transit point for terror suspects.

According to filings, the CIA has over 7,000 documents related to Bush-era renditions.

Attorney General Eric Holder has said that “no one is above the law” and that his office would “follow the evidence.” He has not appointed a special prosecutor.

President Obama said Holder will be the person who ultimately decides whether to prosecute Bush administration lawyers who wrote opinions providing a legal basis for interrogation techniques widely denounced as torture.

President Obama also said CIA agents who tortured prisoners will not be prosecuted.

Biggest Lie Of 2009: Hillary Claims Obama Has Followed Words With Actions

April 23, 2009

Clinton Foreign Affairs

Thursday, April 23, 2009

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must take the crown for uttering the biggest falsehood of the year so far, after she claimed that President Barack Obama has followed words with actions, when in reality his every major policy has mirrored or intensified the Bush agenda.

“I think the President’s actions in these last 100 days do match actions with words,” stated Clinton during a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting yesterday, which is perhaps the most gargantuan lie of 2009 so far.

Clinton was responding to Ron Paul’s comments that the Obama administration should tread carefully in the nuclear-armed country of Pakistan.

As we documented at length earlier this week, on every single major issue that Obama promised he would work to bring “change,” the exact same policies forged by the Bush administration have been continued.

From the failure to prosecute top officials in government and intelligence who ordered torture, to the failure to withdraw U.S. troops “immediately” from Iraq, as Obama promised (his plan would leave tens of thousands in the country even after the “withdrawal”), to the staggering support and continuation for the Bush administration’s illegal warrantless wiretapping program – on every issue Obama has done the exact opposite of what he said he would before the election.

And in some cases he has even intensified the Bush agenda – with 30,000 extra troops being sent to Afghanistan and bombing raids on Pakistan being increased, while Hillary herself warmongers about Pakistan being a “mortal threat to the world.”

Meanwhile, Obama’s war chest demands came to a total of around $800 billion in war funds and subsidiary costs just to cover the rest of 2009, a bigger tab than George W. Bush ever got.

Does any of this sound like a move towards bringing the troops home and rolling back the American empire and police state, as Obama promised before he was elected? Is Obama really following words with actions or merely following orders from the same CFR and Bilderberg masters that Hillary Clinton answers to?

Summers: Living Large and in Charge

Not surprisingly, Lawrence Summers is convinced that he deserved every penny of the $8 million that Wall Street firms paid him last year. And why shouldn’t he be cut in on the loot from the loopholes in the toxic derivatives market that he pushed into law when he was Bill Clinton’s treasury secretary? No one has been more persistently effective in paving the way for the financial swindles that enriched the titans of finance while impoverishing the rest of the world than the man who is now the top economic adviser to President Obama.

It is especially disturbing that Summers got most of the $8 million from a major hedge fund at a time when such totally unregulated rich-guys-only investment clubs stand to make the most off the Obama administration’s plan for saving the banks. The scheme, as announced by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, a Summers protégé, is to clean up the toxic holdings of the banks using taxpayer money and then turn them over to hedge funds that will risk little of their own capital. At least the banks are somewhat government-regulated, which cannot be said of the hedge funds, thanks to Summers.

It was Summers, as much as anyone, who in the Clinton years prevented the regulation of the hedge funds that are at the center of the explosion of the derivatives bubble, and the fact that D.E. Shaw, a leading hedge fund, paid the Obama adviser $5.2 million last year does suggest a serious conflict of interest. That sum is what Summers raked in for a part-time gig, in addition to the $2.77 million he received for forty speaking engagements, largely before banks and investment firms, and on top of the $587,000 he was paid as a professor at Harvard.

Summers was a top adviser to the Democratic presidential candidate last year, and that might have enhanced his speaking fees, which seem to have a base rate of $67,500, the amount he received on each of two occasions when he appeared at Lehman Brothers before that company went bankrupt. Lehman had purchased a 20 percent stake in D.E. Shaw while Summers was employed by the hedge fund, and it would be interesting to know if the subject of the overlapping business came up during Summers’ visit to Lehman.

Lehman was only one on an impressive list of top financial firms that consulted Summers during a troubled period. Goldman Sachs was so interested in his thoughts that it paid him more than $200,000 for two talks, even though it soon needed $12 billion in taxpayer bailout funds. Citigroup, which has been going through hard times, managed only a $54,000 fee for a Summers rap. Merrill Lynch could pony up only a scant $45,000 for a Summers appearance last November 12, but that was at a point when Merrill was in deep trouble, with the government arranging its sale. Summers, anticipating an appointment in the administration of the newly elected Obama and perhaps wanting to avoid any embarrassment the fee might bring, decided to turn over the $45,000 to a charity.

Why was someone as compromised as Summers made the White House’s point man overseeing $2.86 trillion in bailout funds to the financial moguls whom he had enabled in creating this mess and many of whom had benefited him financially? Will no congressional panel ever quiz Summers about his grand theory that the derivatives market required no government supervision because, as he testified to a Senate subcommittee in July of 1998: “the parties to these kinds of contracts are largely sophisticated financial institutions that would appear to be eminently capable of protecting themselves from fraud and counterparty insolvencies….”

Think of the sophisticates at AIG when you read that sentence, and then ask why Summers is once again at large in the public sector. Or take White House spokesman Ben LaBolt’s word for it that “Dr. Summers has been at the forefront of this administration’s work…to put in place a regulatory framework that will strengthen the financial system and its oversight–all in an effort to help the families across America who have paid a very steep price for risky decisions made by Wall Street executives.”

The very same executives that Summers had previously assured us could be trusted without any regulation. Why should we now trust Summers any more than we trust them? Couldn’t Summers just take his ill-gotten gains and go hide out in some offshore tax haven? If this was happening in a Republican administration, scores of Democrats in Congress would be all over it, asking tough questions about what exactly did Summers do to earn all that money from the D.E. Shaw hedge fund. As it is, with their silence they are complicit in this emerging scandal of the banking bailout.

Willie’s World

March 30, 2009

“Man, I had to just email the writer of this article, which I’ve never done before, but this guy got to me. This bozo “Willie” writes a column in the S.F. Chronicle, I guess, called “Willie’s World.” Anyway, just another pawn being used in the retarded fight/logic behind gun control. Notice the use of black folks behind the gun control fight, Obama, Holder,  this Willie dude. If these sellouts had any minds of their own they would realize that the people who really need to be armed are all of the good black folks living in high crime areas, who are held hostage in their own homes because they are not allowed their God given right to protect themselves.  While little armed hood-rats terrorize the neighborhood… it’s just another form of slavery. I want all people to be able to protect themselves from street crime and from tyrannical governments.  Especially, poor folks and people who have dealt with a long history of oppression!

Anyway, here’s the article & Willie says a lot of dumb stuff and makes a claim to the Oakland “Bart” shooting… and because of that incident we need to ban AK-47’s? Wasn’t that kid unarmed and shot by a cop with a hand gun? It’s just shows how silly the gun control issue is and how desperate this Obama/Holder/Clinton gun control posse is getting.

(Willie’s email is at the bottom of the article if you want to contact him).

Our Criminal Government Is Getting Predictable

March 29, 2009

“Jesus Christ… just like I said. You see once you get passed what ever it is that keeps you blinded from our governments corruption and evil agenda then you can literally sometimes predict their actions. I don’t think I’m johnny-smart-guy… there are a growing number of Americans who know exactly what I’m talking about.”

U.S. Gun Trial Echoes in Drug-Torn Mexico

PHOENIX — This week, an Arizona gun shop goes on trial in state court in what law-enforcement officials are calling a landmark case against gun dealers who sell weapons that end up in the hands of Mexican drug cartels, fueling horrific violence south of the border that killed more than 6,000 people last year.

X-Caliber Guns LLC, is accused of knowingly selling hundreds of weapons, mostly AK-47s, to buyers who were posing as fronts for Mexican drug gangs. The gun store’s owner, 47-year-old George Iknadosian, has maintained his innocence in court filings.

While the U.S. has long pressed Mexico to stop the flow of illegal drugs such as cocaine from crossing the border heading north, Mexico has complained that the U.S. doesn’t stop the flow of guns heading south. Mexican and U.S. officials estimate that more than 90% of the weapons used by Mexican drug cartels come from the U.S.

Consider what happened last year in the Mexican border city of Nogales. The chief of the Sonora state anti-drug unit, Juan Manuel Pavón, was murdered by cartel hit men, just hours after attending a U.S. seminar on how to resist the tide of American firearms surging into Mexico. Several weapons linked to the crime traced back to X-Caliber Guns.

“The three highest priorities for me in terms of U.S. cooperation in the drugs war are these: guns, guns, guns,” Mexican Attorney General Eduardo Medina Mora said in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal. “These drug groups intimidate society and government because of their firepower. And their firepower comes from the U.S.”

No one knows how many weapons cross the border into Mexico each year. Unlike contraband drugs, which are consumed, contraband guns “remain in circulation until they are captured,” says Terry Goddard, the Arizona Attorney General bringing the case against X-Caliber Guns.

The number of U.S. guns in Mexico is growing. The Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF, says more than 7,700 guns sold in America were traced to Mexico in the fiscal year ending last September. That’s twice the 3,300 recorded the previous year and more than triple the 2,100 traced the year before that.

U.S. officials acknowledge that U.S. gun laws are partly to blame. The 1994 ban on the sale of assault weapons like AK-47s in the U.S. led to a decrease of such weapons south of the border. But the ban expired in 2004, and the numbers in Mexico spiked. Last week, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said the Obama administration would seek to reinstate the ban. Contributing to the problem is the fact that Mexico’s customs control is famously weak, and authorities rarely check inbound traffic from the U.S.

Meanwhile, Mexican drug gangs are stocking up on deadlier weapons. ATF officials say they have registered more purchases of high-powered FN Herstal rifles and pistols — the Belgian-made weapon called “matapolicias” in Mexico, or “cop killers,” for their ability to fire through body armor. Such items are sold in hundreds of Arizona gun shops, or by private owners advertising online.

An FN rifle retails here for $2,200, but will resell in Mexico for “three to four times” the price, says William D. Newell, special agent in charge of Arizona for the ATF. “Money is no object to these guys,” he says.

Although U.S. gun laws generally forbid the sale of weapons to noncitizens, the X-Caliber case shows how Mexican purchasers used intermediaries — or “straw buyers” — to flout the rules.

The scheme, according to the prosecution, was simple: The buyers, usually 19- to 22-year-old U.S. citizens with no police record, declared that the firearm was for personal use, but instead passed it along to an associate of a Mexican cartel. The buyer filled out a standard form used by the ATF to track firearms. Lying on the form is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. But ATF agents here say buyers in the X-Caliber case were paid a fee to run that risk — up to $100 on each transaction.

Gun shops generally rely on ATF recordkeeping to check them before selling to the wrong buyer. Ken Logan, a manager at the Shooters World gun store in Phoenix says the ATF form, once approved after being checked against a national data base, relieves the store of responsibility. “The ATF says ‘yea’ or ‘nay,’ on who I can sell a gun to,” he says.

Gun stores run the risk of lawsuits if they’re deemed to be “profiling” — refusing to sell guns to young Latinos, for instance. Mr. Logan concedes he has seen men enter gun stores, point out to a girlfriend what weapon they should buy, and leave. The girlfriend fills out the form, attesting the firearm is for her personal use.

Getting bullets is even easier. Gun dealers here must report anyone purchasing more than one handgun during a single five-day period, but there is no restriction on ammunition. Last Christmas Eve, salesmen at Cabela’s Sporting Goods store in Phoenix were surprised when two Hispanic men bought 24,000 rounds of bullets — the same caliber used in FN “cop killers.” They paid in cash — more than $10,000. When the buyers were seen loading their purchase into a car with Mexican license plates, store managers summoned police. Authorities found 12 FN rifles and three “cop killer” handguns.

Police arrested the buyers, but only because they were foreign nationals, thus forbidden from possessing arms in the U.S.

The murder of Mr. Pavón last year illustrates how Arizona’s gun-friendly culture contributes to mayhem in Mexico. Last October, the men under Mr. Pavón’s command fought gangs of narco-pistoleros in gun battles across the state. On October 24, a caravan of heavily armed assassins descended on Nogales, only to be repelled, leaving 10 gunmen dead. A week later, they attacked a police substation about a mile from the U.S. border crossing.

Days later, Mr. Pavón was in Arizona for consultations with U.S. officials.

At a farewell picnic at a federal shooting range in Tucson, the Mexican policeman was invited to test fire a powerful American weapon that has been surfacing lately in the narco-gangs’ arsenals: the 50 caliber Barrett rifle, powerful enough to pierce a tank’s armor.

“We had a shootout,” recalls Mr. Newell, the ATF agent. “He won.”

The following night, Commander Pavón was ambushed as he entered a Nogales hotel.

Subject: Prohibiting guns and drugs

(There’s a civil war going on in Mexico. It’s the drug cartels, funded by obscene black market profits, versus the government, funded by obscene taxes.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton visited Mexico this week. She’s from the U.S. Federal Government and she was there to help. She promised . . .

* More taxpayer money to fight Mexico’s war on drugs
* Gun control laws here in the U.S.A. . . .

. . .to stop the flow of guns to the Mexican drug cartels.

Ms. Clinton seems to think that gun prohibition is the way to enforce drug prohibition. She’s right about one thing. Drug prohibition and gun prohibition are the same issue.

Now, you might think drugs are bad. You might believe them to be so harmful you’d never use them. But you probably expect the politicians to keep their hands off your firearms.
On the other hand, you may think guns are evil. You might believe they’re so dangerous, you’d never own one. But you think you have every right to choose what substances you take into to your own body.

Both positions are correct. Guns and drugs are both dangerous to people who don’t use them prudently. But prohibition laws mean that no one is allowed to use them prudently. And the one form of prohibition ends up being used as a justification for the other, as Ms. Clinton made clear in Mexico this week.

We think it’s time to put the special pleading aside. Drug prohibition and gun control aren’t two separate issues, they are the same issue, and should be governed by the same principle. The only thing that should be prohibited is government prohibition in all its forms.

We don’t need to renew the Assault Weapons Ban, or give money to Mexico to fight the war on drugs.

What we need is less government coercion, not more.

Downsize DC! That’s the winning formula here.

Our government should end drug prohibition. That will defund the Mexican cartels (and the terrorists too), then they won’t be able to buy the guns. It would also reduce violent crime here at home and remove much of the supposed justification for gun prohibition).

If you see the wisdom in this please our free Educate the Powerful System to ask Congress to end prohibition.

Then, please help spread the word. Digg this message on our blog.

Thank you for being part of the growing Downsize DC Army, which has grown in two months time from 24,095 to 24,649.

Popular Anti-Stimulus Video Blogger Summoned to White House

March 28, 2009

WorldNetDaily is reporting that Bob Basso, who has released videos urging Americans take their government back from corrupt politicians, was reportedly “summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.”

n the video below, Basso, who portrays Thomas Paine, author of the “Common Sense” pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution, has called for Americans to send tea bags to Congress. Basso strongly criticizes Congress for approving the “largest spending bill in history without reading it” and takes Americans to task because “you did nothing.”

The video, “We The People Stimulus Package,” has over a million views.

Basso is a former award winning news director for NBC TV and visiting professor at UCLA.

He was scheduled to appear on the Jerry Doyle radio show but canceled after Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House “to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos,” according to WND.

‘Hillary: The Movie’ Opens At The Supreme Court

March 24, 2009

“Ya, why is there any debate about this! This basically tells filmmakers, artists, and every person on the street to shut the fuck up and don’t question the actions of our cartoon puppet politicians.

They are setting presidents with this kind of stuff. I just don’t get how people are not seeing things yet. Ignorance is bliss until your kids are drafted off to die for no good reason. It’s bliss until you realize you live in a growing environment of surveillance, oppression, and deceit by the hand of the United States Government.

But when you realize that beautiful moment that the answer to all of these problems lies within you. You can… Start… speaking out to your friends and co-workers about all of this corruption. Start… going to city hall meetings, emailing & calling your representatives in congress.

Finish… thinking someone is going to fix everything for you. Finish… your indoctrinated servitude towards your country, you are much more expansive than that. Finish… finishing off the fuckers who fucked this fucking thing up. These Global elite no longer serve a function in a world that is headed toward a new age if love, compassion, toleration, and understanding. Ironically, that they are a virus with-in our societies because that is the very weapon they may use to get rid of a bunch of us. They are parasites. They are mucking up the gears for a better future for all of us. It’s no joke anymore.”

Scotus Clinton Movie

By JESSE J. HOLLAND, Associated Press Writer – Sun Mar 22, 7:27 am ET

WASHINGTON – Months after its debut, “Hillary: The Movie” faces nine of the nation’s toughest critics: the Supreme Court.

The justices’ review of the slashing documentary financed by longtime critics of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton could bring more than just a thumbs up or thumbs down. It may settle the question of whether the government can regulate a politically charged film as a campaign ad.

David Bossie, a former Republican congressional aide who produced the Clinton movie and another describing then-Sen. Barack Obama as an overhyped media darling, said his films are about important moments in American politics.

“The outcome of this case will dictate how we’re able to make films and educate people about them,” he said.

At issue in the case being argued before justices Tuesday is the 90-minute anti-Clinton movie and television ads Bossie wanted to air during the 2008 primaries advertising the film.

Bossie’s group, the conservative Citizens United, released the movie as Clinton, then a New York senator, was competing with Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination.

The movie is unquestionably anti-Clinton, featuring commentary from conservative pundits, some of whom specifically say Clinton was not fit to be commander in chief.

One scene, which was used in an ad, has Dick Morris, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton who is now a critic of the Clintons, saying the senator is “the closest thing we have in America to a European socialist.”

The movie was shown in eight theaters. Bossie’s group wanted to run ads on television in key election states during peak primary season and show the movie on cable television‘s video-on-demand.

Federal courts said the ads would violate the McCain-Feingold law, the popular name for 2002 revisions to the nation’s campaign finance laws. Judges called “Hillary: The Movie” a 90-minute attack ad, rulings that would require Citizens United to identify the financial backers for the ads if they were to appear on television.

The court also said that if Bossie’s group showed the movie on cable television, financial backers would have to be named and the group would have to pay the cost of airing the movie.

Citizens United appealed to the Supreme Court, arguing that “Hillary: The Movie” should not be considered a political ad. The group says there is nothing in the movie urging people to vote against Clinton. The group says the film is more of a documentary comparable to critical television news programs such as “Frontline,” “Nova” and “60 Minutes.”

“The fact that ‘Hillary’ presents a critical assessment of Sen. Clinton‘s political background, character, and fitness for office does not convert the movie … into an appeal to vote against Sen. Clinton,” said Theodore Olson, Citizens United’s lawyer.

“Indeed, a critical exposition of the political background and policy views of a former first lady and sitting U.S. senator is precisely the type of uninhibited, robust, and wide open debate and discussion that the First Amendment protects and encourages,” Olson argues.

A panel of federal judges disagreed, calling “Hillary” nothing but an extended-length political attack ad. TheJustice Department agreed, saying “‘Hillary’ is a 90-minute advocacy piece whose unmistakable meaning is that Hillary Clinton should not be elected president.

Some question whether that declaration strays too close to regulation of journalists, who generally have been exempt from campaign finance rules.

Without passing judgment on the content of “Hillary,” the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press filed a brief supporting Citizens United, telling the Supreme Court that the media has been critical of presidential candidates since George Washington.

“By criminalizing the distribution of a long-form documentary film, as if it was nothing more than a very long advertisement, the district court has created uncertainty about where the line between traditional news commentary and felonious advocacy lies,” the group said.

If the decision is upheld, “I can certainly see journalists running afoul of this law in the future,” lawyer Lucy Dalglish said.

This isn’t the first time documentary filmmakers have been questioned in relation to campaign finance laws. Citizens United in 2004 sought to keep filmmaker Michael Moore from advertising “Fahrenheit 9/11” — which was critical of President George W. Bush — in the run-up to the presidential election.

The Federal Election Commission, charged with enforcing the McCain-Feingold law, dismissed the complaint after Moore said he had no plans to run the ads during election season.

Bossie said Moore’s success is what inspired him. “Michael Moore forced me to recognize the power of documentary film,” said Bossie, who was involved in the House’s investigation of Bill Clinton that led to the president’s impeachment and trial.

So regardless of what the Supreme Court decides, expect to see more politically charged movies from Citizens United.

Soon after Obama secured the nomination, Bossie’s organization came out with “Obama: The Hype Effect” and ran into the same legal problems with the Federal Election Commission. That didn’t stop the group from having free DVDs inserted into The Columbus Dispatch, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post and the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Bossie expects to produce at least 15 movies at his Washington-area studio by the next presidential election in 2012. Among them, he says, will be “Stimulate This,” an indictment of the recently enacted economic stimulus package.

The case is Citizens United v. FEC, 08-205.

Why is Obama leaving 50,000 troops in Iraq?

March 15, 2009

“Because he’s a puppet in the worst way. Reagan was scum, Popa Bush was scum, Clinton was scum, Piss Boy Jr was scum, and Obama is scum. You people seeing the trend yet? He may actually turn out to be the worst of all. Seriously. I’m certainly not hoping for that but I see the trends already. I see the bullshit in his eyes. There not as “darty” and devilish as GW’s but I can see right through him none the less. There will be candidates worthy of the United States presidency running in the next election, so, do yourselves and the rest of us a favor and open up your eyes and learn about them. Time to grow up America. The political arena of what you knew as reality in your life is a joke and a dangerous one. Being treated like a fool should be enough for you to rise-up, unless you are one.”

(This is a true story and I remember asking my Mom about it a couple of years ago. I still have a very vivid memory of this day and my Mom can’t believe that I even remembered it because I was so young, around 1st grade or even a little before that? Anyway, I don’t think I am Batman or anything but it’s a fact that I have this day burnt into my memory. I was a shy quite kid growing up, (in my younger years), and my Mom was taking me to the doctor to get a shot and I knew that. I had gotten shots before and obviously was not a big fan of them. But for some reason I absolutely freaked the fuck out. Throwing a massive tantrum in the car on the way over there. (I think it was a “booster” shot. I have no idea what that means but I remember that). I remember being violently opposed to getting this shot. Being held down by the doctor and nurse, etc. I remember the room, the chair, everything. After they finally squeezed the shot in me and my crying and fighting slowly fizzled away… I remember feeling defeated and the doctors saying, “see that wasn’t so bad, don’t you feel better, etc”. This could just be burnt in my memory because I didn’t feel like getting a shot that day. And the shot may have been perfectly safe, I have no idea really. And if it wasn’t, I in no way blame my parents or anything like that. What I’m trying to say is… that… I’m Batman. No. Just kidding. What I’m trying to say is… follow your instincts and trust what you think is right. Not what your teachers or government tell you what is right. I followed my instincts after high school and pursued being an artist. When most of the kids thought I was weird or crazy for making that kind of choice. I just thought that was a much better way to go through life. A lot of people from my high school went into Pharmaceutical sales. I’m not saying one is better than the other (cough, cough)… I’m just saying follow your instincts. You are your best guide through this life).

“This is what I’m talking about when I say eugenics are being carried out on the American people. If you have children or plan on having children and are unaware of these vaccination crimes being carried out on your children by our government then you should probably familiarize yourself with this important information.

Once again… this is the country you live in. Your government knowingly injects your children with these poisons. Well, not all children… children of high government officials and ultra elite yuppies don’t get this “spike” I’m sure of that. There may be a direct connection with these vaccines and the ridiculous rise of children being diagnosed with autism and cancer, etc.

These vaccinations have been going on for decades. Under the Bushy Boys administrations, Clintons, and they are happening now currently under the Obama administration.  Just more concrete evidence that there is no real difference between both of the outdated dinosaur “dem & rep” parties. It’s time to admit your parties have run their, (charade), course into the ground. It’s really time to start thinking 3rd party, people. If not for yourselves, (because Americans are so stubborn they stand behind their puppets even as they gouge your backs), then do this for your children.

It seems like you may be flooded with all this dreadful information lately, huh. Because for years and years all of the information you were receiving was primarily from your television, radio, and newspapers. And most of those news outlets were ultimately controlled by the same people, who were hellbent on keeping the average-joe American a beer drinking, consumer,  idiot.

They did a pretty good job for a long time. Ahh, then the internet came along. Maybe the most powerful tool for the “average” mans voice to be heard sense the gun was invented.  And ironically the Obama administration is trying to disarm the American public with the most aggressive anti-gun bills this country has ever scene. And the Obama boys are pushing for heavy regulation of the internet with “Internet 2.0.” You just have to open your eyes a little because these things are really happening and they are very real and palpable.

I hear very often from friends and family, “You can’t believe everything you read on the internet.” Believe me there’s no one who believes that more than me. Because I spend the extra time researching stuff before I put stories up here. With that said, “You really can’t believe everything you see on the TV. Your news programs are the real joke. Yes, there’s a lot of shit on the internet but if you look hard & smart you can find the truth. And you can’t do that with your television, period! Yes, even your Keith Olbermann kind of “liberal” shows. You’ll see what I’m talking about as Obama’s puppet-ness reveals itself more and more as he helps the Globalist run our country into the ground.

For all you women with your beautifully strong motherly protecting instincts; I know you will see the light first before men when it comes to protecting your children, so, ladies… it’s time for you to speak out and start a peaceful revolution. You’ve been treated the fool for too long. Stand up to these sick men and women who are directly harming your children. You have to realize that they are Obama and his administration. You have to realize that they were G.W. Bush and his administration. You have to realize that they were Clinton and his administration. You have to realize that the next elected democrat or republican president will also be harming you child with these vaccines. And you really have to realize that they are being controlled by a very sick and criminal shadow government. And these are the real scum-fucks we need to expose to the light and do away with, with extreme prejudice, to make sure their crimes against the worlds people can never happen again. These “Banking Elite Globalist” have funded both sides of all the countries in all of our world wars with their own money. And that is a fact. We all need to become aware of the world around us and tell our brothers and sisters for the sake of your family now and generations to come.

Don’t ever feel hopeless. That is exactly how the powers that be want you to feel. Start to educate yourself first. Start speaking out yourself first. Then look to others in the political arena that might share your humane ideals, like Cynthia McKinney, Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, or Ralph Nader. It’s time to draw a line in the sand. The longer you wait to speak out then the more likely your husbands will have to draw that line with a barrel of a gun.

(I know many people can’t get past Alex, yes he is very excitable and sensational sometimes and that might add to his ratings. But he is a “fact-checker.” Thats is what he does and he’d be the first to admit it. I think he just has a tough time being the newscaster robot like you see on your 6 o’clock news when he is aware of what is really going on in this country. It’s called caring, getting mad,  and showing emotion. Yes, you don’t see that from your television journalists, (thats a big stretch for them, I shouldn’t use that term), how bout’ your television “failed actors who are willing to sell their souls by spewing out Pentagon propaganda for a chance of  their 15 minutes of fame,” news anchors. They should have staid on the obvious path their life was heading before they landed these network news gigs… getting spit out of the bottom of the porn industry). -F.F.

Obama Appoints Top Notch CFR, Bilderberg Members

January 23, 2009

mitchell-holbrookeFrom Reuters:

In a flurry of diplomatic activity in his first week in office, U.S. President Barack Obama on Thursday named special envoys for the Middle East and the Afghanistan-Pakistan region.

Newly confirmed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Obama had chosen George Mitchell, a former senator and seasoned international trouble-shooter, as an envoy who will try to jump-start moribund Arab-Israeli peace talks.

Obama tapped former ambassador to the United Nations Richard Holbrooke as a special envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan and related issues.

George Mitchell is not simply a CFR member — he is a former director of the globalist organization.

Mitchell “got his start in Federal politics when appointed by President Jimmy Carter (CFR member),” writes Tom Kovach. “Mitchell is chairman of the second-largest law firm in the world, DLA Piper. You know, the firm that recently put a full-service, ‘multicultural’ office in Dubai. You know, the port city in a country that tried to buy American port operations with oil money. Mitchell’s law firm has a ’strategic alliance’ with a consulting group owned by former US Secretary of Defense William Cohen (CFR member), which did PR work on behalf of DP World, the Dubai company that tried to buy the ports.” DLA Piper represents more than half of the top 250 Fortune 500 clients and nearly half of the FTSE 350 or their subsidiaries.

Mitchell sits on the steering committee of the American Friends of Bilderberg along with such luminaries as Conrad Black, Henry Kissinger, and David Rockefeller, Ditto Richard Holbrooke. He is on the board of directors of the Council on Foreign Relations. A dedicated Clintonite and former ambassador to the United Nations, Holbrooke brokered the Dayton Peace Accords, the “peace agreement” that partitioned and reduced Bosnia to a NATO and IMF client state, a model of bankster privatization. Holbrooke’s “peace plan” was only realized after massive NATO bombardment of Bosnian Serb territory.

Holbrooke is a consummate insider and global elite operative. Along with Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller, and Paul Allaire, Holbrooke directs the American Friends of Bilderberg, an organization that takes money from Exxon, Arco, IBM, and other transnational corporations and has its meetings funded by the globalist Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and the Carnegie Endowment fund.

It looks like the White House is shaping up to become a branch office of the CFR and Bilderbergers, but then this is simply business as usual. For years, the CFR — with its associate memberships in such international units as the Trilateral Commission, Club of Rome, and Bildebergers — has infested not only the White House, but the State Department, the NSC, the Pentagon, and much of the federal government.

“CFR membership is also inclusive of West Point Superintendents, Allied Supreme Commanders, Secretaries of Defense, and Military Policy members. Media memberships include Time, New York Times, Newsweek, Washington Post, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.,” writes Noah W. Hutchings. “The CFR also exerts influence on United States personnel at the various United Nations agencies, which is natural, because UN goals usually parallel CFR’s goals.”

The American people think they voted for change, but in fact they simply signed off on four or eight more years of globalist rule.

This is just too fucked up. (Is this true?)

January 22, 2009

It’s like saying, “Hey were the American royal family and this is who is getting your bailout money.” Not much has changed. Just goes to show that the masses are still being treated like peasants by an elite few. The whole system could be squashed like the blood-sucking parasite it is if the majority of the people first learn how badly they have been treated and be man enough to admit they’ve been cheated. Then talk amongst themselves  and do something about it. One lesson our dumbed-down American public needs is the power of numbers. We’re all here. Just need to start talking to one another.

A True History of the United States

January 22, 2009

Got an hour or so. You want to learn about the real world around you. Check out the movie below, “A True History of the United States.”

You are not truly free. You are free as a consumer to buy what ever crap you want. You are living in a country that practices MASSIVE voter fraud and then invades other countries to promote our great and “fair” democracy. During the Democratic and Republican National conventions there were designated “free speech zones” for anyone who was protesting both platforms. Hitler had used these exact “free speech zones” during his reign with the exact same terminology, (translated of course). Amy Goodman from the show “Democracy Now” was arrested and man-handled at the DNC for being a journalist. Denver police admitted that they went undercover and posed as radical protesters to make the “protesters” look like scary anarchists on the six-o’clock news.

State and local police forces are being federalized at an alarming rate which I hope I don’t have to explain is a very very bad and scary idea. There are some real similarities to Obama’s call for “youth brigades” and “mandatory arm service” for young men to Hitlers policies. Huh? Sorry, it’s true. I’m not say he’s Hitler but I’m stating a fact.

“Lets destroy a nations economy by design and the only work to be had would be through the government or their armed services.” Sounds a lil’ bit like the C word, no?

History is repeating itself and it doesn’t have too if “YOU” don’t want it to. I’m ready to give Obama a chance but when you realize that a jar full of human feces could be elected and the same agenda would be carried out…it’s kinda hard to get behind the guy or girl or jar of stinky. Think shadow government!  The elite British hand is still in the United States.  Look into Obamas connection with George Soros. While your at it look into George Soros period. I guess I’m just not as gullible as I used to be. Or things have gotten so bad under our nose that it just can’t be ignored anymore. Also, a steady diet of mushrooms helps you get through the cobwebs of years of TV watching and poor state schooling.

Reading real history books helps. If you don’t like to read then here’s a movie about the United States REAL HISTORY:

See Through It

January 17, 2009

“Any biological, chemical, or nuclear attack would be carried out by our own government agencies. Read “real” history books and declassified Government documents to find out how our government has staged “false-flag” terrorist attacks to rally the people behind wars like Vietnam. I guess we will have to wait about 40 years for the US governments declassified documents on the September 11th false-flag terrorist attacks to come out.

How Hitler’s false-flag “fire” rallied the German people behind his dumb ass. History is repeating itself because so many people are living in a enormous state of denial or they just live in TV-Land or they are just looking out for their own ass. Whatever the case there is always hope that these people will wake up to the fact that the world powers that be are leading the human race into an Orwellian state. You can’t deny the power of a persons own primitive needs for freedom. If something happened in this country for the need of an uprising, (and I pray it doesn’t), if only 1% of the American population came together behind a good cause than anything that got in their way would be totally crushed. Just by the sheer numbers. Like most of the information you get from the tube….. the lies about Gun Ownership in America have been out there for a reason. Check out,

Believe me… I’m from up North and I was taught that you were a coward to have the need to own a gun. Guns are bad, bad, bad. Although, most of the people that had guns were criminals using their guns to profit from crimes they carried out. Your being lied to like many other things. Your family and your gun is the last line of defense towards everything that is good and decent about this country. Just keep an eye out for the Gun Grabbing mentality of the upcoming Obama administration.

MORE Examples of documented ‘False Flag Terrorism’

B07329 / Sun, 10 Jul 2005 14:20:17 / Intelligence

After reading the article detailing the proposed and existing oil pipeline routes in the Middle East at then consider the following examples of “false flag terrorist operations”… where governments fund, set-up, and execute their own covert terror operations and blame scapegoat nations or “alleged” terror cells like Al Qaeda to ,muster support for further war (to ultimately dominate world economies through control of the world oil supplies).

The point being that world citizens are not only the cannon fodder in the slaughter…but end up paying the tab through increased interest fees and taxation by corporate politicians for their war expenditures.

1.) British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook: “Al Qaeda” was the name of a U.S. intelligence database … also seefabricating_the_enemy

2.) The phony (Mossad) Al Qaeda Cell in Palestine … plus more documented examples of intelligence agents impersonating and setting up Al Qaeda cell groups strategically

3.) FSB (ex-KGB) behind 1999 bombings in Russia’

FSB (ex-KGB) was behind the apartment bloc bombings that were carried out in Russia in September 1999”, says Boris Berezovsky, a former Kremlin insider who has since fallen out with the Putin government.

Nikita Chegulain, a former undercover agent of the antiterrorist division of the FSB, said he possessed documentary evidence that proved that highly explosive hexogen was withdrawn from military bases and distributed secretely to regional organisations. He incriminates top government officials in the coverup; independent investigations have so far been blocked.

The panel brought attention to already known facts about a foiled explosion in Ryazan on 22 September 1999. The FSB was forced to admit that it had planted the device, when phone calls amongst its agents were intercepted. Yet, simultaneously, head of the FSBPatrushev claimed that the explosives were actually sugar and that this was part of a so-called security exercise.

This sharply contradicts the version of the local police force which had determined that the substance was hexogen and that the detonator equipment was real and set for 5.30am © “the clock was ticking”. Four explosives experts from Britain and France recently examined the available evidence from the Ryazan incident and concluded that the bomb was authentic.

4.) In depth article: Originally set up as a network of clandestine cells to be activated behind the lines in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe, “Gladio” quickly expanded into a tool for political repression and manipulation, directed by NATO andWashington

Terrorism expert says at least one person tipped off to London attacks

Terrorism expert Tommy Preston of Preston Global in Frankfort, Kentucky, said sources in the intelligence community reported that at least one person in London, England was warned of Thursday morning’s terrorist attacks moments before the initial blast. Preston, citing sources in the intelligence community, said former Israeli Prime Minister and current Finance Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, was in London this morning for an economic forum. “Just before the first blast, Netanyahu got a call from the Israeli Embassy telling him to stay in his hotel room. The hotel is located next to the subway station where the first attack occurred and he did stay put and shortly after that, there was the explosion,” Preston said.

11.) The Muslim Terrorist Apparatus was Created byUS_Intelligence

12.) Another taboo subject is the longevity of the United States as both a terrorist state and a haven for terrorists. That the US is the only nation on record to have been condemned by the World Court for international terrorism (in Nicaragua ), and has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution calling on governments to observe international law, is unmentionable.

13.) America as Terrorist Haven: “A chief terrorist with long ties to US intelligence agencies is seeking asylum in the United States. The FBI has evidence linking him to an airline bombing that killed 73 people. We’re talking about the notorious militant Cuban exile: Luis Posada Carriles.”

“Though the terrorist’s presence has been an open secret in Miami, neither President George W. Bush nor Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has ordered a manhunt. The U.S. press corps has been largely silent as well.

The reason is that this terrorist, Luis Posada Carriles, was a CIA-trained Cuban whose long personal war against Fidel Castro’s government is viewed sympathetically by the two Bush brothers and their father. When it comes to the Bush family, Posada is the epitome of the old saying that “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.”

The Bush administration – which has imprisoned Jose Padilla and other alleged Muslim “enemy combatants” without trial – has taken a far more lenient approach toward the 77-year-old Posada, who is still wanted in Venezuela for the bombing of a Cubana Airlines plane in 1976 that killed 73 people. Posada also has admitted involvement in a deadly hotel bombing campaign in Cuba in 1997.”

“A Cuban exile who has waged a campaign of bombings and assassination attempts aimed at toppling Fidel Castro says that his efforts were supported financially for more than a decade by the Cuban-American leaders of one of America’s most influential lobbying groups.

The exile, Luis Posada Carriles, said he organized a wave of bombings in Cuba last year at hotels, restaurants and discotheques, killing an Italian tourist and alarming the Cuban Government. Posada was schooled in demolition and guerrilla warfare by the Central Intelligence Agency in the 1960’s.

14.) In California, in the eighties, John Pilger (investigative journalist and writer) met four Vietnamese who had been assassins in America’s Operation Phoenix; one of them ran a fast food drive-in. He seemed a contended man. What all these people have in common, apart from their history of terrorism, is that they were either working directly for the US government or carrying out the dirty work of American policies. Operation Phoenix, for example, devised, funded and run by the CIA, was responsible for up to 50,000 murders. He states:

“Much was made of al-Qa’ida’s training camps in Afghanistan, the target of American bombers. But these were kindergartens compared with the world’s leading university of terrorism atFort_Benning in Georgia. Known until recently as the School of the Americas, it trained some 60,000 Latin American soldiers, policemen, paramilitaries and intelligence agents. Forty per cent of the Cabinet ministers who served in the genocidal regimes of Lucas Garcia, Rios Montt and Mefia Victores in Guatemala are graduates.

In 1993, the UN Truth Commission for El Salvador named the army officers who had committed the worst atrocities of the civil war; two-thirds of them had been trained at Fort Benning. They included Roberto D’Aubisson, the leader of the death squads and the murderers of Archbishop Oscar Romero and a group of Jesuit priests. In Chile, the school’s graduates ran Pinochet’s secret police and three principal concentration camps. In 1996, the US government was forced to release copies of the school’s training manuals. For aspiring terrorists, these recommended blackmail, torture, execution and the arrest of witnesses’ relatives.”

I have come to understand this form of government we endure is a “plutocracy” (government by the wealthy) who lie, cheat, assassinate, instigate acts of terrorism and then blamescapegoat_nations and support/fund terrorist regimes anddictatorships as long as their dictators dance to their corporate tune.

It does not take an entire government to be involved in instigating acts of terrorism any more than, say, it does not take all the bank employees to know what the head bank manager is planning in his board meetings. That is whyFBICIA, and firemen who blow the whistle on head office wrongdoing…are muzzled, threatened, fired, demoted, ignored and harassed purposely. I am saying that when someone sincere and with integrity comes across evidence which shows possible corruption by head office, part of the cover-up is to discredit these individuals. It is time to seriously share this vital information…in hopes that an informed public might just refrain from rallying to the war cries of the weapons/military/industrial complex.
